Our guests enjoy privacy of our bunkhouse. Living rm/shower/toilet and lav are downstairs. One twin bed and a futon in 'standing room' loft. Queen bed in private bedroom. WIFY and Roku/Hulu. Breakfast fixings: coffee, tea, cereal bars, instant oatmeal, waffle/muffin mix. Microwave, toaster oven, ele. hot plate for cooking. Dorm size refrig/freezer. Several great local restaurants. 4 museums. Pet friendly! $10 for each additional adult, after 2. Approx 6 miles from Cuero and 25 from Victoria.

Original style unique circa 1972 Port-A-Lodge on Lake Mathis. Recently renovated. Enjoy fishing/swimming by boat! Lake levels fluctuate. Lake levels are medium now. Furthermore, it is very close to Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington, Texas A&M, the Navy Base, walking trails, and beautiful beaches.

It is boat friendly with a private pier with lights. A game room above the boathouse provides indoor fun with shuffleboard, pool, and foosball tables along with the second bath. You’ll love my place because of the views, location, and coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, bird watchers, and families (with kids).
