We had a great stay in Brora and would definitely recommend this apartment. Views out over the golf course and the sea, easy walk to local shops, restaurant etc and the apartment was spacious and had everything we needed.

Had stayed there for 1 night, Stevie was very helpful in explaining the property location and check in was very smooth. It looked exactly as shown in the pictures. Free Parking is available within 2 mins walk. Great host and good property if you are looking for a stopover while covering the North coast 500. Tesco, Lidl and few restaurants are nearby the location. 15 mins drive to the Lands End - John Groaths.

Stayed one night to break up a journey along NC500. Lovely accommodation in a spot close to harbour. Our daughter loved the spacious upstairs bedroom area

Had booked Harbourside accommodation. Due to a construction issue my booking was transferred very helpfully to the Forge accommodation - same facility same management company. Very efficient Excellent customer service and communication

The Noddle is in a fantastic location, a short distance from the ferry and quite central on the island of Hoy & South Walls. There was only 2 of us and dogs, so it would be excellent for families & friends, but the space was great. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and baking, the lunch was bright, but the light in the conservatory was so good, comfortable day bed for relaxing, reading, drawing and soaking up the view. We took wood with us for the fire, but didn't use it as the house was lovely and warm. The garden was lovely, easy access to the burn and beach. walking distance to 'Emily's' tearoom, where we had an excellent dinner, great for special occasions (booking recommended), also walked to Scapa Flow visitor centre for lunch (quite basic). There's a lovely cafe at top end of Hoy, Beneath'ill, recommended if you are going to Rackwick - amazing beach. Been to Hoy a few times, loved our week at The Noddle. Tony was quick to respond to any queries. We'll be back.

This is a great location literally on the NC500. Quiet at night with stunning sunsets and sunrises. The bungalow has everything you need and it is lovely to sit in the sun lounge and relax after a day exploring. Garden is enclosed and safe for dogs. We were met on arrival by Steven and shown around. There are some stunning beaches locally and plenty to do for the three days we stayed. Highly recommend.

A beautifully maintained property and spotlessly clean. The framed poems by John Horne, a local poet and former resident of the cottage, were a lovely touch. We made use of the neat little garden, and were able to sit with a cup of coffee in the evening sunshine. Lorna thought of everything we might need and was generous in the 'treats' she left for us to enjoy. We felt right at home.

The house was perfect for us. Great location, great space for the 6 of us. Enjoyed our meals around the kitchen table and comfortable in the lounge.

This was a lovely house and a good base for exploring Caithness. The house was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The house was lovely and warm to combat the chilly weather outside! Our hosts were friendly and check in / check out was simple. There was plenty of room for the 10 people in our party. Our children particularly enjoyed the sand dunes at Dunnet Bay and rock pooling at Ham Harbour - even in the rain. There was a nice walk from nearby Lybster Harbour along the cliff tops.

We spent Christmas with our family at David’s place, and it was absolutely wonderful. The house was cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. Communication with Meghan was excellent—she was quick to respond and consistently supportive throughout our stay. They even went above and beyond to do us a great favor, which we truly appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We loved Dornoch and Ann’s cottage! Great location, an easy walk to the beach, all the shops, pubs, restaurants. The cottage is charming and cozy, had everything we needed, even a cozy fire in the inviting living room.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Amazing house with ample space for the 6 of us. Lovely surroundings. Peaceful. George provides logs & charcoal for the bbq & fire pit which was great! There’s also 6 folding camp chairs which you are free to use - they came in handy.! There’s outdoor seating & also a communal garden in addition to your own private garden space. The house was clean & comfy. Games room was a hit - we got in some darts practice which was a laugh & there was plenty time spent on the pool table too! All bedrooms are en-suite with one bedroom downstairs & 3 upstairs. Living room is large with 3 sofas. We definitely had loads of space. There was milk & butter in the fridge in addition to a lovely welcome pack of locally produced goods & breakfast cereals. George came to introduce himself & even gave us a wee tour of the neighbouring farm so we could see & hold the beautiful lambs.. really enjoyed our stay.

The flat was warm , comfortable and quiet. It was nicely presented and well equiped. We felt completely at home and got a timely response to any questions. We had a lovely few days away over Christmas and Margaret had made a special effort with seasonal decoration which was much appreciated .

Perfect stay, beautiful location and well equipped, spotless

Aurelie and David are truly wonderful hosts! The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures — no surprises, just exactly what we were hoping for. It was perfectly prepared for us in advance in the configuration we needed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly require. The Nespresso machine was an especially appreciated touch — mornings just aren’t the same without a good coffee to start the day! We also noticed (and appreciated) the whiskey set out on the console — a lovely gesture, even though we only had a small taste. Thank you so much, Aurelie and David, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed place hosted by truly thoughtful people.

A beautifully presented property bursting with character. Massively spacious and centrally located. If I were back again I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Great compact flat that had everything you need for a comfy short stay. Easy check in, parking and very clean. We appreciated the recommendations for places to eat out in the area too. Thanks very much!

Lisa kept in touch throughout our stay and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We only stayed a couple of nights but it would be an ideal location for a longer stay too. The massive kitchen and dining area was the soul of our stay. We sat there and chatted around the massive table. The bedrooms were immaculate and the multitude of WCs meant no one was left dancing in the hall waiting for one to be free. The location is ideal too. It doesn’t get any more central. We really needed somewhere to base ourselves for our stay, somewhere we could retreat to and not feel like we were falling over each other and that’s exactly what we got. It’s a gem.

It’s the perfect respite after a long drive from Edinburgh! The accommodation is nestled in a lovely building with a private courtyard and there is plenty of space in the one bedroom apartment. Marie has obviously spent a lot of time in making the place homely because we had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable despite our short stay. The location is also very central, located right by the harbour which makes for a picturesque walk in the evening. If you’re doing the NC500 or just visiting Wick to learn more about its history, definitely recommending Marie’s!
