Lyde Cottage Wilton

Lyde Cottage, is a 3 bedroom open plan, fully accessible holiday let. It is situated in the heart of a working farm in the beautiful village of Wilton near Marlborough. The Cottage is sat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where the Pewsey Vale meets the North Wessex Downs. The Farm is criss-crossed with footpaths, bridleways and open grass pastures so hiking, running, riding and picnicking are easy to come by, as well as home to Ponies, pigs, alpacas and other farmyard animals.

With spectacular views, miles of public footpaths, friendly rural pubs nearby and a range of places to visit it is an ideal location to explore. Local attractions include Stonehenge, Avebury, Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey), Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals, Mottisfont Abbey and Longstock gardens, horse racing at Newbury and Salisbury plus the attractive towns of Marlborough and Hungerford.

In a charming village, and our own one acre mature garden, the room has its own private elevated deck with a table and chairs. There is also access to the garden and other seating areas and summer house. There is a super delicatessen close by. There are 2 pubs approx 10 min walk, and another in next village about 2 miles away.

A striking contemporary renovation in the heart of the beautiful Pewsey Vale. Modern design combined with the original oak framework has created a unique living space. Marlborough, Avebury and Stonehenge all within easy reach. Surrounded by wonderful walks and challenging cycling. Pewsey Station (2 miles) serves London Paddington (65mins).

The first floor annexe is accessed via a covered external staircase. Home from home, cosy but spacious one bed (2 guests) accommodation with living space and kitchen. The balcony is perfect for morning coffee/evening drinks (weather allowing) with far reaching views over the Hampshire countryside. The annexe is adjacent to our home but is entirely private for guests' exclusive use. We will welcome you, and can answer any questions but we will also respect your privacy.

Private annexe in picturesque Wilts countryside

Guests have use of Annexe to Prospect House on the edge of Pewsey Vale, Salisbury Plain and the North Wessex Downs. There are private entrances and gated driveway parking for added security. A separate room can be used for storage of bikes etc. You will enjoy a large living space of 20+ sq metres having an emperor size bed that can be used as twins. Cot and/or child bed can be provided for families. WIFI and Sky tv are complimentary.

Brail Barn, Great Bedwyn

Our cosy Barn is furnished to a high standard and is situated close to the main house in nine acres of grounds and within walking distance to two idyllic villages which have excellent dog friendly pubs. It is ideally positioned if you are seeking a relaxing break with many stunning walks and bike rides. (Bikes not included!). There is an EV charger located at the Barn. Please note there will be a additional charge if used.

Avebury, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Devizes are all easily accessible by car.
