La Casa di Tufo: Room "Serancia"

LA CASA DI TUFO is a unique medieval palazzo that was built in the 5th century where you can experience the atmosphere of the past yet have all the modern comforts of today. Each room has marvelous views of a private garden and of the medieval part of town. There is a radio in every room as well as private bath with massaging showers and foot massage. There are stone arches, original wooden ceilings and other medieval architectural elements as well as TV and exceptional WIFI access in the living room. The breakfast is a mix of Italian (pastry and cappuccino) and continental (bread, cheese, yogurt, granola, and fruit). The house is in the center of Orvieto within a few minutes walking distance to all the famous sights, including the grand Duomo (cathedral) with its famous frescoes of Signorelli, multiple museums, the underground caves, monuments, Etruscan ruins, the famous well of St. Patrick (Pozzo di San Patrizio) as well as many others. If you like archeological places we can organize a guided tour to some Etruscan cemeteries or to the caves of the famous “Fanum Voltumnae,” the most important spiritual Etruscan place, which was discovered in Orvieto after excavations of more than 50 years. If you want to relax after a morning of walking you can go to the hot water springs in the surrounding countryside of Orvieto (35 minutes by car). After that we can recommend to you a typical local restaurant where you can eat pasta like your grandmother used to make. We can also book a guided tour to a local Umbrian vineyard for you to enjoy wine tastings. Within Orvieto’s historic center there are many charming intimate restaurants where you can experience delicious authentic Umbrian cuisine which often includes truffles, porcini mushrooms, fresh vegetables, new olive oil and a terrific selection of wines from Umbria and Tuscany. The owner of LA CASA DI TUFO has a truffle dog and if you want she can show you the dog finding truffles in the woods. If you completely fall in love with Italy and want to stay for a longer visit, you can also learn Italian cooking at a nearby cooking school.

Agriturismo is part of a family farm that can offer you the possibility to enjoy country life, exploring agricoltural themes and also harvest and eat biological products such as Saffron, blackberries, raspberries, asparagus, cherries, walnuts, corn and many others. B&B, detached cottage + terrace. Shared pool.

Our farmhouse is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and wonderful views. We offer two apartments in the main building and small detached cottage. with shared pool, which opens mid May to mid October. For guests who stay in La Capannina our small converted barn with terrace, breakfast is available on request. Independent of the main farmhouse this little cottage offers a very comfortable double bedroom and en-suite shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

Situato in Umbria, nel cuore verde della campagna italiana, troverete un accogliente mini appartamento, vicino alla città medievale di Gubbio (30 min di macchina). Sarete accolti nella vostra Suite, composta da camera matrimoniale, soggiorno con angolo cottura, TV e ampio divano letto e bagno privato con doccia e vasca e da noi, Giulia e Nathan. Splendido B&B realizzato nelle verdi campagne umbre, circondato dall'azienda agraria di 30 ha, che offre olivi secolari e vigneti decennali al suo interno. Posizionato a pochi chilometri dal casello autostradale, è di facile raggiungimento nonostante la posizione offra un panorama immerso nel verde con scorci sull'oasi naturale del paese e vicino a tutte le attrazioni della bassa Umbria, come le mole di Narni, Orvieto, Viterbo, Norcia e la cascata delle marmore

Confortevole b&b situato nel centro storico di Orvieto, di fronte al Teatro Mancinelli ed a pochi passi dal Duomo. Le camere sono dotate di tutto l'occorrente per poter gustare la prima colazione comodamente nella propria stanza: frigo, tostapane, bollitore e macchina del caffè/ the. Camera standard plus, di circa 18 mq, inserita all'interno della parte storica dell’edificio, apre le sue finestre sul borgo storico di Castiglione del Lago, ha inoltre la possibilità esclusiva di accedere allo splendido giardino che lambisce le mura storiche del paese comprendendo al suo interno una torre del 1500, il tutto immerso su una vista mozzafiato sul lago Trasimeno e le sue colline.
