This was a charming old wooden house. Kitchen was full equipped, beds were comfortable. There is plenty to see and do within walking distance. There are also several unique local restaurants nearby. Stayed here as a family of four; would definitely do it again.

Very nice and clean apartment. It was well furnished and organized. The host has paid a lot of attention to small details to make the space seems like home, user friendly and comfortable - examples include netflix account, sufficient closet space with hangers, space and tools to hang laundry etc. Comfortable bed and pillow too. The apt is approx 5-7 mins walk to the Heiwajima station. Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku etc are just approx 30 mins away. Easy access to airports as well. The host is very responsive, proactive and accommodating. Mitsuru-san informed us once the apt has been cleaned so that we could check in early. He also pro-actively provided us with recommendations on bakeries and activities we could do in Ota City. Very helpful host. Our stay was very comfortable and we are happy to stay here again for our future trips.

Hiroki was the host during our stay. The place really did match the description and actually exceeded our expectations. Hiroki was always a generous, friendly and helpful host while also sensitively respecting our privacy. And his English is perfect which also helped! He told us this had been his grandfather’s house. He still runs a super community cafe and gift shop adjoining the house. The garden is really lovely too. And the bikes! The house was perfect for our small family reunion in Japan. Chigasaki is a lovely town, off the international tourist map but with gorgeous coastline, surfing scene, Hawaii vibes!, views of Mount Fuji and fabulous restaurants and bars. Also very well connected by train and a great local bus which stops right outside the house. Day trips to Enoshima, Kamakura, Tokyo and Hakone. Also took a weekend to visit Kyoto by bullet train. All a perfect introduction for a first (or subsequent) visit to Japan.

This was a fully loaded Airbnb with every conceivable amenity - plentiful parking, toiletries, kitchen stuff, plenty of spare bedding and 4 cycles to explore the neighbourhood. Superbly maintained, and located right on the Miura beach with plenty of restaurants and basic shopping options nearby. The 3 deck chairs in the living space were an interesting set up, and convenient to laze around! The host was super responsive and super patient - especially when we had a little trouble finding the key. If at all there was a little blemish - it is that the “beach view from the living room” wasn’t what was shown in one of the pictures of the property, since the 1st floor deck wasn’t accessible for us. Overall - we really enjoyed the short stay there, in a relaxed setting. Nicely done, by the hosts :)

Good location close to the railway station, and a short walk to Enoshima. All of the basic accomodations you might need, besides laundry. If you have mobility issues, you may find it challenging to bring large or heavy luggage up to the unit.

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

Sho was such a fantastic and thoughtful host. He even picked us up from the nearest station and recommended the best restaurants in Hayama. Home was very cozy and perfect for a relaxing holiday where you just sleep, eat,nap and eat again. Love the quality of fine food at Hayama unlike any other big cities’ commercial restaurants. I hope to visit at least once a year. Thank you Sho san for making us so welcomed in Hayama.

wonderful stay at Ryo's Air BNB. good host and very clear and responsive

We had a very nice stay. The house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It’s is very recent and clean. It is located close to the Enoshima seaside and you can see Mt Fuji on sunny days (if you are very lucky). We encountered a small issue with the fridge, it ended up warm inside when we came back in the evening. As a consequence the food was lost. The owner told us it was probably the de-icing that warmed up the inside. The fridge worked properly again the following day. However the stay was great and we would recommend the house again.
