Spacious home in close proximity to town. Plenty of room for our family of 12. The beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The game room was great and utilized every night. Carol was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions we had. By far our favorite thing about this home were all of the bears that visited. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our large family.

Enjoyed this stay, and will definitely recommend to others. I will also look forward to a future stay here!

Beautiful house, clean, well stocked, private, incredible views! Host description and pics are on point. We loved how private it was, the beautiful view of the mountains and the river, all of the extra little amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, dishes and cooking utensils, plus 2 coffee bars stocked with Keurigs and drip coffee makers and creamer and sugar etc. As described, this is a remote and private property, so stock up on anything that you want to eat or drink or supplies. It's at least a 40 minute drive to a decent sized area. The wifi worked great the entire trip. We loved it!

Great location, just far enough from downtown to feel very peaceful, but an easy drive to get down to shops/restaurants. Check-in/check-out was very easy and the hosts were very communicative and friendly! Kitchen could have been a little better stocked (i.e., there was dish soap but no sponge, a coffeemaker but no filters) but nothing we couldn't work around. Overall a great stay!

The place was great for myself and a few buddies to get away for a short weekend. The place was just as advertised. Perfect table for DnD.

We had a nice stay at Hightop Haven. It was clean & looked exactly like the pictures. Areas for improvement would be to invest in some type of clothing rack or dresser, as there was nowhere to unpack your suitcase. We made due by moving all the decor on the shelving unit to the bottom shelf & using the other areas to store our still folded clothes. Still not ideal, but it beat getting things out of our suitcase. There was no ice so we went without the first night, & the second day got some on our way back from town only to find out there was an icemaker it just had not been turned on. It was raining the first night & there is no roof over the hottub so we weren't able to get in to relax after our long trip. All in all it was a very nice place to stay though. It was secluded with great views but still just a short distance to all of the main attractions. There is a skylight to the left of the bed in the loft that offers some great views upon waking. That was something I really enjoyed

My family and I had an amazing Christmas here! It was very peaceful and private. My boys loved the hot tub very much. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was beautiful and very roomy and comfortable. It had every appliance that you could ask for. Ample dishes, glasses, utensils and a good amount of supplies to get you started. There were also very nice stainless steel appliances. The views were amazing and we could see where the smoky mountains got their name from. The sunsets and sunrises were absolutely breathtaking. It was nice to take a dip in the Jacuzzi, very easy to use. The roads leading up to the ski chalet are not for the faint of heart, be prepared for winding roads with no guardrails in some places. We are flat landers, used to being a foot above sea level. We got used to them by the end of the week. On the nights we wanted to stay in, we used the delivery services in town and they were pretty awesome but you have to order early. We used the South Baden club for pool access, they also had indoor games for the kids like pool, foosball, etc. Ober Gatlinburg was within 2 miles of our ski chalet, and it took you into the town of Gatlinburg via an aerial tram to all the shops and restaurants. We ended up having a great time! Thanks Joe and Patricia!

This is a great place to stay, close to everything in Gatlinburg and has a wonderful sunrise and sunset mountain view. Was clean and everything we hoped for. Great place to stay, relax and enjoy the mountains. Owner was very helpful and gave plenty of information on what to do in the area. If your planning a Gatlinburg trip this is a great place to stay!

Andy’s place was the perfect, perfect spot for our group gathering! Spacious and spotless clean. Location is ideal as it is conveniently located near town and trails and other local attractions. Communication with Andy was easy and friendly. On the downside, the door locks were out of battery so checking in was tedious. The company in charge of the location wasn’t as available as needed at the moment. Also, linens for the sleeper sofas were not available. They were provided the next day after our request. I would come back though… it was a good stay after all:)

This place is special and we cannot wait to come back!

A little slice of HEAVEN! Beautiful views, very peaceful. All the amenities from coffee to QTips were appreciated !!! We loved our time here!! The beauty of nature plus excellent shopping combined to make it a marvelous escape for a WIDE variety of personalities!! This sister/cousin group had a glorious time.

We really loved our stay. It was exactly what we needed to relax during our anniversary get away. We enjoyed a day of sightseeing in Downtown Gatlinburg and loved that it was so close! The cabin was fully stocked and we spent a day just hanging out at the house. Enjoyed playing all the games available and drinking coffee while looking out one of the many many windows at the gorgeous views. Really was a gorgeous spot!

This house was great! Google maps didn’t quite get us to the house, but with the instructions provided by Phoebe, we were able to find it. There are some STEEP hills to get up, but we made it and even saw some bears on the road!! There are no bathtubs in the house, but I overlooked that detail in the pictures. The littles had to shower and weren’t that happy about it. The house looked exactly like the pictures, the hot tub was wonderful, the older kids loved the basement with the theater and arcade console. It was a great trip for this group.

We spent five days hiking the park and the house was such a great place to come home to.

We enjoyed our stay! Check-in was super easy. The kitchen had limited prep space but was very well stocked- we especially appreciated the air fryer! Beds were comfortable, we enjoyed the view from the sunroom, and the kids loved the basement game room. We were hoping to see the same bears previous guests had described but didn’t get that opportunity. Lol. We contacted Caitlin about a small problem we had with a door the night we checked in & she had a repairman out the next day to take care of it. We enjoyed the hot tub but I was a little sad that the chemicals discolored my swimsuit- maybe if you rinse it out right afterwards that wouldn’t be a problem? We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
