The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome. Situated in North West Scottish Highlands approximately 80 miles from Inverness, in a beautiful and tranquil setting, 10 minutes walk from the local beach and a short drive to Mellon Udrigle a sensationally beautiful beach. It is a good area for walkers of all abilities. There is ample parking for two cars and a there is a garden with tables and chairs and a barbeque. Dogs accommodated, but there are sheep around so they must be kept under control.

This is a self-contained annex that is ideal for a couple but it is not suitable for children of any age. Guests have access to a kitchen with a range of facilities, with seating area. Although open-plan, there is a separate area for sitting and relaxing. The property has off-street parking and has its own private entrance. The East Wing is within easy walking distance to all amenities in the village and only 3 streets back from the shore.

A cosy wee house set peacefully amongst the hills.

A delightful place to stay and newly finished in May 2019 'The Wee House' can be found right next door to our own (slightly bigger) house, 'Heisgeir'. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. Being born and brought up in the area we hope our local knowledge will allow you make the most of your trip.

Alderbank is a recently renovated cottage set on our old family croft by the shore in the beautiful village of Shieldaig. It sits directly across from the village pier and looks out over the sea loch towards the islands. It’s a peaceful, scenic spot that makes a perfect base for exploring Torridon or simply unwinding by the water. We hope you enjoy your time here as much as our family does.
