Ferienunterkünfte mit Feuerstelle in Upper Klamath Lake

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Meadow House! Barbara provided very clear instructions for how to locate the home, accessing things, and we also had the chance to talk with her one morning and get more information about exploring Crater Lake + surrounding area. She provided many guides as well for places to visit. The home itself was immaculate and filled with everything we needed to make our meals and enjoy the space. We would definitely stay again if ever back in the area! Like others mentioned, we didn't take enough advantage of the property's own trails, but everything we did see was gorgeous.

We had a very enjoyable (altho too short with some rain) two night stay at Terri's cottage! Terri's cottage is an easy, very pretty drive to the southern entrance to Crater Lake Nat'l Park. Terri has put a lot of thoughtful touches in the cabin which makes it so nice for guests!! The king bed is super comfy, the refrig/freezer is very spacious, loved the new brick paver sidewalk from the parking- keeps the mud out of the cottage, the heater really works fast (didn't need a/c), brand new gas grille & outdoor table & chairs, nice firepit, shower is small but functional. Fort Klamath is located in a beautiful valley with lots & lots of beautiful cattle! We would stay again at Terri's cottage if we return to Crater Lake!!

We had a truly wonderful time here. The environment is fantastic, and this is an exceedingly good place from which to explore. On a couple of different days, we could do bird-watching, kayaking, and snowshoeing, all in the same day. Within short drives of the apartment there are all of these: evergreen forests and waterfalls (Umpqua), snow-covered mountains (eg Mt McLoughlin), wetlands with abundant wildlife (upper and lower Klamath Lake), and a truly world-class national park with its own incredible amount of activities to offer (Crater Lake). If you have any interest in the outdoors, you can’t go wrong here. I want to particularly call out the birding…just spectacular. All manner of wetland birds abound— mergansers, grebes, egrets, herons, ducks, coots, you name it. And thanks to our host’s fantastic recommendations, we got to see the world-famous mating dance of the western grebes. So beautiful and interesting. The apartment, host, and location were all amazing.

This home was even better than the pictures! The view was absolutely stunning, and the space had such a cozy, cabin-like charm. The fireplace was a beautiful centerpiece—it turned on automatically and gave the whole place a warm, magical feel. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the little soaps and toothpastes etc. The home stayed warm and inviting the entire time, making it the perfect getaway. We had such an amazing time. Thank you for letting us experience your lovely home!

The family and I had a wonderful experience staying at The Red Dragon House! The house is clean, the hosts are friendly and responsive, and the location is peaceful. This is a great place to stay if you don't mind being just a few minutes from downtown Ashland - for us, this was preferable. There are thoughtful touches throughout the house, and you can tell the hosts spent time considering the care and comfort of their guests. We've stayed here twice now, and can't wait to return for our next visit to Ashland!

We wanted a place to stay that had private areas since it was two couples but also a nice gathering area for the four of us. This was the Perfect Place! The open Kitchen, dining and living area were quite large with comfortable seating for all of us. The deck on the back of the house was perfect for afternoon cocktails while watching the sunset and the river with all the beautiful wildlife. We found that Shady Cove which is only a 20 minute drive had a nice grocery store and several restaurants. The drive to Crater Lake was about an hour and was absolutely spectacular even in the early spring. We also took advantage of fishing while we were there on the river. FYI check with a fly Shop to make sure you have your rig set up correctly because the police do stop and check for fishing license and your Line length. I would absolutely stay here again and it is the perfect place to relax after a day at Crater Lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at Angela's beautiful and very comfortable cabin. We feel right at home. We hope to come back next time and stay again at her place. We had a great time driving around the Crater Lake. Seeing the Lava Monument was a great experienced. We highly recommended it especially the Skull Cave, don't miss it. A lovely place to stay while visiting Crater Lake. Clean, comfortable, and spacious with everything we needed for our 2 nights there. Beautiful location about 35 minutes from the park, surrounded by grazing fields and Mountain Views. We loved having our morning coffee on the patio watching the cattle in the neighboring field and listening to the birds. About 30 miles from the nearest town with groceries, restaurants, etc. so plan accordingly. Great communication with host. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!
