Beautiful house, furnished with great love - warm, homely and comforting. The small garden around it is abuzz with bees and insects, and redolent with the smell of flowers - denoting a very healthy ecosystem. It's nice to note that native weeds and shrubs are allowed to flourish in the overgrown garden. (please note however that there are 3 houses very close to this one - it wasn't an issue for us as there were no noisy guests while we were there) The best thing about the cottage are the gorgeous views from the 3 bedrooms and the living room. All have floor to ceiling glass windows or French doors . Waking up to the view of the flowers in the garden against the backdrop of the sunrise in the mountains was something else! The two caretakers, Prashant and Manishji looked after us very well. The food was simple Kumaoni style dal, sabji, roti but delicious! They made pasta one night which was also very good. All in all it was a much needed break from our busy lives.

Woody trails is situated at a great location, which has great views of mountains and valleys. Its at a peaceful location and the property is very beautiful and well maintained. We had a great unique experience of astronomy where he took time to very patiently and passionately describe the details. It was also amazing to have barbeque exp with very hygenic and tasty food in open air. Aakash is a great host, his friendly, courteous and hospitable nature was a highlight of our trip and made our trip memorable and unique.

My second time here, this time with family. always excited to stay here. the view, the place is amazing. My family loved it too. Will visit again in future. Great host and caretaker. Always there to help you.

Charu is a great host, she has carefully designed her place to be perfect for both solo traveller or groups/families. Caretaker is extremely helpful, surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Her place is one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed. Definitely coming back and recommend it. Thanks for hosting me!

A great place. Just what we wanted. The cottage - is not very old. Yet it is built in local fashion with local materials but with all modern 'living amenities' as listed. In keeping with the mountain terrain it is built at 'levels. 'Full of knick knacks, a fire place & so on.... All this gives it a very cosy , yet rustic feel, very authentic & lovable. The cottage does not have a 'living room', but that is compensated by the large verandah overlooking the property. Grand views all day. the owners were present in their other house on the property. Very friendly yet not intrusive. One does not expect such help full caretakers in a airbnb. The caretaker cum househelp cum handyman Mr. Bobby Singh who is on hand 24/7 is a gem. he cleans, cooks, advises(if asked). Plus there is Mr. Anand Singh who takes care of the 'grounds' of the property, who helps in procuring groceries & stuff. Two people to help !!! Almost like a serviced resort . The cottage is very nice to stay. The service is awesome. Food is really good. If someone is having their own vehicle, then it's best place to stay.

This property felt like a holiday home and the comfort received was the best. Coming back soon again in winters this time.

a wonderful place to spend time with family. best part is that it's adventurous to get inside the property. Rashmi was super responsive and welcoming the care taker, Pratap helped us with food and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Had a wonderful stay at Ramashish’s place - the local staff cooked us heavenly food and made us feel welcome to the chalet. We enjoyed each evening watching the sunset against the beautiful mountains. The village nearby was quiet and walkable, we felt safe in the area and the gardens at the house were well taken care of and beautifully landscaped. Would definitely visit again in the future!
