Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

This rustic renovated cabin adjoins the World Heritage Barrington Tops National Park. Enjoy beautiful views of the majestic forest and experience the visiting wildlife; parrots, Bush turkeys, nesting Lyrebirds and the resident wallaby and her joey. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views on the wrap around verandah, play some tennis, stroll to Crystal pool for a refreshing dip in the river or explore some of the beautiful walking trails through the majestic forest. With open plan living spaces, fully equipped kitchen and wood fire, the house is fantastic for a special time away with family or friends. All rooms have views across fields, vineyards and mountains, with the huge covered verandah providing the best vantage point only occasionally obstructed by wandering kangaroos, wombats, foxes, and the local cows.
