This was our fifth year coming up to Camp David. I don't even look for another place because we know that this is our "home away from home" for a few super relaxing days. Everything you need is there. Very quiet and private. Always a great escape here. And Mike is extremely responsive and accommodating. Can't wait until next year.

We had a lovely stay! The cabin was well kept and the land was lovely. There are some really nice local restaurants nearby, we especially enjoyed the food and staff at the Canal View Cafe. Unfortunately we had bad weather during our stay, but we absolutely loved setting up our travel hammock down by lake and enjoyed the large fire pit when we could.

We had an amazing weekend at the cabin. Check in and out was a breeze, inside was pristine and beautifully decorated, so much to do and close to everything. We felt right at home. We will be back for sure.

We had an amazing time at Edie and Daniel's place. The house is right next to the beach so we were able to walk right over, and the view from the house is beautiful. We have a 17-month-old and the house was great for a toddler - has a crib, high chair, gate for the stairs, not a lot of clutter. The location is great, right next to convenience stores and walkable to restaurants or for delivery. The beds were really comfortable as well! Overall a great spot with really responsive and friendly hosts. Would definitely stay again!

We had the most wonderful weekend at the lake! This was perhaps the most accommodating home we have stayed in. Heidi and Emily are offering everything -- from the fireplace (already stocked with wood), to a canoe, to lawn games, a dedicated dog area outdoors, and an amazingly well-stocked library. This house truly has it all. It was the perfect location for our 9-member family vacation for grandparents, parents, kids, and 2 dogs. We loved every moment. The house has a great, sprawling layout that seems to go on forever! That means the 3 back bedrooms are quiet, and the door in between them and the living area is great for the early risers while the late sleepers snooze. There are so many nooks for hanging out and having side conversations while still feeling a part of the group, but also a few areas to go for some solitude. We really couldn't have asked for anything more than this home offers. And the views of the lake, both from the home and from the beach/dock, can't be beat!

Brian was excellent in communication and answering questions about his place and the surrounding area, prior to our departure. Unfortunately we were staying there for a business trip, and our client cancelled the trip two days before we left. The reason was a lake effect snowstorm that was going to hit Syracuse and surrounding areas the day we were to drive up to Altmar, NY from the Philadelphia region. At the time, the weather teams in Philadelphia were telling us that we could get hit on our way back to Philly with snow that would be 12" - 15", which didn't happen. Our client is going to reschedule the trip hopefully in the near future. My crew and I tend to book Brian's place again when it's rescheduled. We wanted to give Brian 5 stars on everything, because there really isn't a place in the 'ratings' area that says 'we had to cancel the trip'. I'm sure once we get up there for the reschedule that we'll be giving a 5 star rating regardless.

Maria’s place by the lake was perfect! wanted to take our 3yr old somewhere new and this place was perfect! the small lake with the kayaks and paddle boat were a big hit and let’s not forget the screened in trampoline made our lives easy come night time( couldn’t keep the kid awake for once if we tried) .. Maria was very responsive and super friendly letting us even stay most of the day on our checkout day! could go on and on about the place it was a great time and we highly recommend it especially if you have kids!

Alison’s home was even more lovely than the photos! My family of four (all adults) spent the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The property was so beautiful and private. The swimming pond, gardens, walking trails, patios and sauna gave us plenty of opportunity for both exploring and relaxing. The house is so comfortable and had everything we needed. Alison, Mike and their dog, Ghost were the perfect hosts! We did not want to leave and are already looking forward to returning ! This has been our favorite Airbnb yet!

This property can literally be described as heaven on earth! You feel like you've been transported to the Bahamas. It's the perfect place for any situation....whether you're bringing your family, small children, or significant other for a romantic getaway. The sand beach with sand bar after sand bar is too amazing for words. The water is shallow for quite a way out, meaning it warms up quickly in the sun. I would guess the water was 80° with areas that warm up to the 90s. Just perfect... As for the home itself, there were many beds to sleep in, beautiful living room and kitchen, game room area with a mini kitchenette, and even a master bedroom with balcony. Owners were very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend 🥰 We can't wait to come back!

This was our third stay in the Finger Lakes region, and our entire family group was unanimous: this was our favorite location. The house is beautifully decorated, squeaky clean, and well-outfitted for our week long stay. Nice to have the lake right across the street, and have ample room on either side of the house for a sense of privacy. Only clumsy thing is that, because there seems to have been an addition built to the original historic structure, the bathroom locations upstair are little awkward to get to. No biggie, but if that's important to you and/or you have trouble with stairs, just take a closer look. But with three bathrooms and four bedrooms, there was plenty of room and everything was very modern and functional. My family doesn't agree on many things, but we all would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

This was our third stay at the cottage and we felt very welcome there. Can’t say enough about the view and how cozy the house is. Corinne is always available and ready to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back again.

Colleen was very accomodating: I couldn't specify our arrival time, and I don't have a cell phone so couldn't let her know my progress. She worked things out with me ahead of time, and was friendly and welcoming when I arrived. I was traveling with 3 daughters, visiting friends for a wedding. The little shed was pretty eccentric: composting toilet, right at the edge of the water, etc, and I though it was perfect! I went for a swim in the evening and again in the beautiful early morning light. Thank you Colleen.

The apartment was exactly what we were looking for - a comfortably elegant place to stay with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The owners were so responsive, friendly, and easy to deal with. And that sofa in the living area - I could have sat there all day! We look forward to coming back in a year or two.

We had a really great time here! The pictures don't do this place justice. The lake views are amazing all throughout and the house and the deck and boathouse are also really good too. The house is also in a nice part of the lake that isn't crowded and is very serene and peaceful. The host was great with communication as well. We would definitely consider coming back to this place if we come back to the area sometime soon!

Have stayed here three times and it is always fun, clean, easy to cook food, play games, play with kids outside and play foosball downstairs . Saturday during a snowstorm, our tv didn't work because of the storm. Dean was plowing the driveway and I asked him about the tv. He got up on the roof, cleaned off the satellite dish and the tv was working again. Thank you Dean! We also enjoy doing a family walk to the gas station/store (Northway stop and shop) one mile away. Very friendly! We love bringing out family together here.

The finger lakes was our destination for a full getaway weekend. We were thrilled to find this property on Lake Skaneateles, our favorite of the finger lakes! We loved the Barndominium from the first moment we entered it! Amazing views! The one big room is comfy, spacious, well equipped, and nicely decorated. We loved having lake access and kayaks to use right on the water!! The pool table was fun to have evenings and on the 1 rainy day. Beds and furniture were comfy, and the bathroom shower was especially spacious. Would we come back? Absolutely!! Thanks for a beautiful stay!!

First trip to Sylvan beach. Ricks place was fantastic. I needed four rooms and kept finding places where had all these makeshift “rooms” that were actually the living room with a pull out couch. Rick’s place was great with 4 actual bedrooms. The place was right on the water and we enjoyed swimming in the lake and hanging out on the huge deck. Rick was more than accommodating when we needed to come in early and stay a little late. Rick gets 5 stars from me and when I’m back in town i will def come back.

Our stay at Grants Island was just what we needed for a little family getaway! The weather complied, the lake and views from the dock were amazing. The use of the pontoon made for good fishing but even better fishing right off the dock! John was more than accommodating with our needs and communication was easy. The cabin fit 5 of us just fine and everyone enjoyed themselves. The local restaurant had great food and drinks!

We stayed with Daniel & Renata over the 4th of July. It was such a great time. The property is right on the water. We docked our boat there. They had kayaks and a swim platform and a volleyball net set up. We used the grill one night. The fireplace another night. The place was clean and we were all able to fit comfortably. We were even able to check in early. The communication was quick and easy - one night there was rain forecasted and we asked if we could shelter our motorcycle in the game room and within a minute we got a response that it would be ok! Fabulous hosts and a great property. We look forward to coming back in the future!

The setting was idyllic. The house was great. I wish it had come with more toilet paper. It was a minor annoyance to have to be concerned with something so trivial for the cost. Otherwise excellent.

Paul’s lodge is a beautiful, peaceful escape on the lake. The outdoor spaces are fantastic. We traveled with 2 families of 4 (four kids ages 10-13) and the kids found plenty to do with exploring, hiking, polar plunging, and using the hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We spent a lot of time on the deck with the fireplace, which was wonderful in the evenings and at night! Definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive car… the access road is steep and slippery when wet! Just take your time and you’ll be fine driving in or out. The hike to the mailboxes was a fun little challenge! We spent one day in the adorable town of Skaneateles, and Mike recommended a great place for us to eat (Sherwood inn). The town is quaint and lots of nice shopping! Overall we had an excellent time and would come back again!

Better than expected! Very spacious. Great place for a long weekend getaway with our children and grandchildren. Everything was clean, beach was absolutely perfect for the grandchildren. Felt like home, Nice restaurants all within a short drive. Host was extremely helpful and responded within minutes. We'll be back for sure!
