Great place to stay. Neighborhood is quiet and centrally located. The backyard is wonderful! Lots of room for a party of 7. Would stay there again!

Erin's property was very nice and pleasant. It provided all that we needed. Erin's communication was high level and friendly. Property was located not far from the points of interests we wanted to tour in Waco. Only thing wrong...our stay was too short! Thank you Erin for being a good hostess. bj

Great place or a quick getaway! Very well maintained, very clean prpoerty. Our german shepherd loved the fenced in yard and all the room she had to run. The fire pit was nice on the cool nights.

The house is so beautiful and a perfect getaway from the city life. The house is very authentic and has so much of history and culture in it. Absolutely loved the place and the backyard too! Would definitely visit again.

From the moment we stepped into this mid-century modern retreat, we were in awe. The open and spacious layout felt airy and inviting, perfectly complemented by the unique and carefully curated art pieces throughout the home. Every detail in the décor added character, making it feel like more than just a rental. The massive windows framed breathtaking views of the lake. The kitchen was impressively well-appointed, making meal prep a breeze, and the beds were so comfortable that we felt right at home. We also really appreciated the early check-in time, which gave us extra hours to settle in and enjoy the space. It was the perfect setting for our 1960s art mystery party! The stylish decor and retro vibes made it feel like we had stepped right into the era. Our guests were just as enchanted by the space as we were! This home isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to create memories. If you love mid-century style and a thoughtfully designed space, this is the perfect getaway.

HOST/ CHECK IN / CHECK OUT: Instructions were clear. Rosanna gave us a little extra time to set up for a birthday party, and even left a gift for my 80-year-old mom with a card. The host is the sweetest! LOCATION: In the Baylor Bubble and walkable to campus. Keep in mind that you are somewhat on the unofficial Greek row here… so one night was pretty loud because we came for Sing and the kids were having fun (happy sounds, nothing crazy). The second night was totally quiet. If you are a light sleeper, just be aware. However, 11th St. is such a fun street with a lot of life, and it’s very safe. Easy to get everywhere from here. THE HOME: Upstairs unit. We loved having 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The living room couch is so comfortable! Everything is VERY clean, but the carpet needs an update. Could also use more fresh “extras” in the kitchen & laundry. We had to buy detergent, hangers (only 3 there), and spices. OVERALL: We enjoyed our time and will be back! Rosanna is a great host!

Had a much needed night at the cabins which are clean, cute, and cozy. The host communicated beautifully to make sure all was well. Great place with lots of little places around to adventure!

Rodney is a great host. He was there when we needed him to teach us about the tv remotes and scarce otherwise. We enjoyed spending time with family in Meridian and coming “home” to peaceful and pleasant surroundings to just relax. Thanks, Rod❣️

Derek’s place is a hidden gem! We have been going to the lake for years for respite from DFW, and we started to wish we had a place we could just stay over on the weekends. Tried a few other places and they were meh location or quality. But Derek’s place far surpassed our expectations! Charming, personable, friendly, clean, unique, and well appointed; Derek’s is walking distance from Soldier’s Bluff @the Lake and one of the best restaurants around, and is a great place for families with children and pets. Good people, Great deal!

Great host and an excellent spot for a group! It has an actual kitchen with cookware, which is rare in AirBNBs!
