Maylinn’s place was a perfect home away from home on a family trip to the Detroit area for Thanksgiving. The home is cute, with lots of nice updates, and was the perfect size for our family of three people and one dog. Everything was exceptionally clean — above expectations. Our 11 year old daughter enjoyed her room and thought the trundle was cool. Our dog loved having a yard to play in. We were glad we brought his tie out, as only three sides of the yard were fully enclosed. But it worked out just fine. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner and make breakfast. There was a washer/dryer. One thing to note is that there was no dining table. There is one eating bar with two bar stools and another table with two bar stools. We would definitely stay here again. Great place for the price and really wonderful to have our dog with us. (He does give a “snort” for not being allowed on the furniture. But we explained it was better than being left at home. He agreed.)

Thankful for this gem for our staycation while displaced due to our furnace giving out. Tamela was super communicative and supportive through the whole thing. Even gave up her secret bedding finds as the beds were SO comfy! Our kids loved the house as well, the front porch is so cozy and inviting and it felt like our home away from home. Thank you!

Fantastic, incredibly accomadating hosts! We were so grateful Giovanni allowed us to have an earlier check in and later check out due to our weird flight schedules. The house itself is well appointed and within walking distance to all Ferndale has to offer. Thanks for a great stay!

Very reasonable price, stayed for work and close to jobsite

House is located in a quiet neighborhood, lots of space, adequate parking and had all the amenities we needed! Host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and will book again for future stays!

Our third stay at John’s house makes it feel more like home every time! Our kids call it our “Christmas house.” It was so kind of the hosts to decorate, put up a tree, and even leave stockings with surprises for our whole family (even the dog). There were plenty of supplies at the house for our family of 6, and staying here feels so much nicer than being crammed into 2 hotel rooms.

Staying at Nate's place always feels like coming home. We were a short drive from all the hustle and bustle one could want in Detroit while we were comfortably nestled in a quiet Oak Park neighborhood with a beautiful backyard for the dogs to romp around,. This is our third time staying at Nate's place and we can't wait to come back. It is abundantly clean, safe, comfortable, and Nate is a very welcoming, communicative, and accommodating host.

Five star accommodations and host. Peter home was amazing the pool and pool house is the best in the area. So many convenient amenities, great locations . Highly recommend

We had a relaxing stay! We enjoyed sitting out back in the sunshine!

The place was spacious and had lots of fun games available. The little theater room was great and even had a game console with games available to use. Bathroom and kitchen were stocked with nice extra amenities (popcorn, snacks and a full bathroom kit in case you need it). Definitely plan on booking this place again when the pool opens!

The place was absolutely gorgeous! also the neighborhood was quiet that it was a nice change of pace for us to rest after working at a noisy environment. Felt like home 🏡

My family had a great stay at Justin's place in Birmingham. The house was very clean and easy to access. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, just a short drive to downtown Birmingham. We'd definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Detroit area. Thank you for a great stay!

As you can likely see from the pictures, this place is very unique. You will definitely not get bored. Everything is clean and approachable, Greg is an excellent host who is always quick to respond and very friendly. Close to local shops/restaurants and minutes away from the US border. Check it out!

Great AirBnB in a great location. Perfect for a quick stay. Very close to the university and the Art museum so very walkable.

What a fun place for our family to spend a weekend getaway! There were 4 couples, 1 sixteen year old and two toddlers. Everyone had a wonderful time and there was plenty of space to spread out. The kids had a ball in the pool! We would LOVE to come back! Everything was clean, inviting, and unique in this house. The response, when we had a question, was extremely quick and satisfactory. Loved our stay at Grandma’s fun house!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Walkable to downtown Clawson and lots of great restaurants. We really enjoyed Sabbath Coffee, Barbs Pasties and Pizza, and noble Fish to name a few! The house is right next door to the parking lot of a busy restaurant which was very exciting for our dogs- good to know if you’re bringing pups. Molly was a fantastic host- super responsive and helpful with the few minor issues that came up during our stay. My husband and I were both working remotely so experienced a few slow times with internet but nothing major! We enjoyed having the ability to do laundry at the house. Would definitely stay again, thanks so much for having us!

The house is tucked away at the end of lovely street, and it feels cozy and safe. When I leave, it it easy to follow the checking-out instructions, so there's no hassle at all. Alyson and James have always been easy to communicate with! I will Definitely return!!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at Alice’s lovely cottage. It is very clean and well appointed with everything we needed to make all our meals. The lake views from the back yard are pretty and tranquil. We had a fire our first evening there and enjoyed a nice lightening show over the lake later in the night. We would not hesitate to recommend Alice’s cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

Chris was very responsive with any issues we had and took care of everything we needed quickly and efficiently. We would definitely rent this house again next time we're in town. We enjoyed it very much during our holiday visit and it felt like the perfect Christmas house! Thank you for everything Chris and Happy New Year!!

This place was exactly what I needed—quiet, cozy, and right on the water. The private dock was perfect for relaxing mornings, and the house had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Super close to Detroit but still far enough to actually feel like a retreat. Loved the fireplaces, the game room (air hockey and foosball were clutch), and the full kitchen made it easy to cook when I didn’t feel like going out. Pet-friendly too, which was a huge bonus. Chelsea was an amazing and mindful host—thoughtful, responsive, and clearly cares about the guest experience. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and just felt easy. Would absolutely stay here again.

Mrs. Arlene responded quickly and her hospitality is unmatched. She made sure that me and my love had a very peaceful, stress-free stay. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again.
