Welcome to Amongst the Pines! We are a small farm located on Green Bluff! Our treehouse cabin is made up of one room with a queen bed for two adults. There is a mini fridge and coffee maker. We have an open air hot shower, outhouse and a great fire pit and outdoor kitchen which are shared with our tent platform guests. We are just 23 min from I-90 so a great respite for travelers! Come explore the neighboring farms where you can pick fresh fruit, breweries, wineries, cafes, and small businesses

Nestled at the foot of Whitehorse mountain in the midst of the North Cascades, a Shepherd’s Retreat is a working sheep farm. The farm is one of the few historic homestead farms in Snohomish County. Located within the North Cascades there is great hiking amazing views within a half hour drive. The town of Darrington is 5 miles away with restaurants, a pharmacy and grocery. The farmhouse has been recently updated and restored to allow guests maximum comfort, but able to live close to the land.

Take a quick jaunt down the walking path to see our full and Mini Highland cows, goats, pigs and others. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.
