Ferienunterkünfte direkt am Strand in Watamu

Absolutely stunning house and great communication from the host and office. The house is a bit older so bathrooms are a bit old and had some issues, but apart from that it is absolutely beautiful and right on the beach. Even better than on photos!

This is the second time I have been a guest in this villa. It is perfect for me and my family, large rooms, beautiful garden, swimming pool and direct access to the sea. I would like to highlight the staff, always available, professional and very discreet. I hope to be able to return soon.

We had a wonderful holiday at Dhow House. A great location, only a few minutes walk from the beach. Kids loved the pool and using the top deck for meals was also special! Thanks

Semplicemente Africa! La casa è incantevole come da foto, eravamo più famiglie e abbiamo potuto dividere le stanze in modo da avere ognuno la propria privacy. Tutto pulitissimo. Pulizia giornaliera delle stanze con servizio lavanderia (davvero fantastico). I letti hanno le zanzariere, ma devo dire che non erano molte le zanzare in questo periodo. Lo staff è estremamente gentile e disponibile. Lo chef, Martin, ci ha coccolato con la sua deliziosa cucina, abbiamo mangiato davvero bene ed è stato disponibile coi nostri orari. La piscina è un plus, c’è la siamo goduta tantissimo visto il caldo. Spiaggia a 5 minuti a piedi. Cosa aggiungere? È stato un alloggio veramente favoloso! Consigliatissimo!

Great experience at Le Pleiadi. The rooms are spacious and the pool is splendid. Proper value for money. Would certainly recommend. Will be back.

This is a lovely house on the beach just next to Treehouse Watamu. The location is excellent, the staff very friendly, and the house has lots of spots to relax and hangout. It also has a nice pool, good mosquito nets and lots of fans. The ocean is a 3 minute walk and this particular stretch of beach is peaceful, empty and hassle free. The house has two good sized double rooms with a bunkbed (double down, single up) in a small corridor. It fit our family of five perfectly. Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here so much. The view was stunning, and the layout really lovely. There was only 4 of us staying and it was perfect for that number. Watamu is hot, very hot, but there was an incredible breeze off the sea, fantastic pool that was cool but not cold, and the fans above the beds were perfect for keeping us cool at night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Chef Funds food was delicious, and highly recommend his white or red snapper, chicken or beef. Joyce was polite, discreet and very helpful. She even washed our clothes for us. Can not recommend more. Hopefully will be back.

Slice of paradise in a quiet stretch between Malindi and Watamu. The pool and view was beautiful and peaceful. We were a group of 9 for the weekend - the team was very accommodating of our different needs, check in and check out times. Very much enjoyed our stay.

We have had a fabulous time at Sue and Damian’s. It’s one of the best Air BNBs we’ve stayed in. The accommodation is beautiful and has everything you need for a homely stay, there is real attention to detail which made all the difference! The staff were really helpful and always on hand without being intrusive. Sue and Damian went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We really want to go back!

Daniele's place was a wonderful and memorable experience for us. The staff members are super friendly, thumbs up to the security guard ;Tete and Michael. The cleaners Jacky and Amina, they are very friendly and helpful. Daniele's place was very clean and free of clutter. Many places to have activities and are all so close to each other. We will definitely come.

Our stay at Villa Mkauju was absolutely fantastic! The villa is stunning, offering tranquility and comfort. A big thank you to the wonderful staff who were incredibly attentive and made us feel at home. Special thanks to the owner for maintaining such a beautiful property. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a luxury getaway in Malindi. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely fabulous place. I would highly recommend it. Rachel had clear instructions and was always available to help. The place was clean and has everything you need. There is so much to do in the area, Malindi is a lovely place to visit. Musa was very helpful and showed us around making sure we got everything we needed. Thank you for having us.

We had a wonderfull stay in Ritchie's House. The house itself is wonderful, has a very beautiful garden and access to the beach. The service was excellent, and the chef was very professional and good as well. In short: we had an excellent stay at Ritchie's House. On top of that, all communication with Vivienne went extremely smooth. We felt warmly welcomed, even long before we even arrived. Vivienne is very responsive, and helped us with restaurant recommendations as well.

Everything was perfect from the cosy fully furnished appartement to its incredible location just next to the beach. The apartment lives to its name “cosy” , has everything one needs and looks the same as in the photos. Thanks Julien for being a wonderful host. He was there to provide all the information I needed. He showed me around the beautiful town of Malindi. Thanks to you I had a pleasant stay. Hope to come back !

This place is quiet and very near the ocean. It is real value for money. Highly recommended.

Great stay overall—very friendly staff and great location near several restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, and beaches. Host can be a bit slow to respond but not a big issue as we didn’t have major problems. Would definitely stay again.

My friend and I had planned to stay at Francesca‘s for 4 nights but extended our stay since we liked it so much. The apartment seems to be pretty new, everything is very clean and furnished practically but still with nice details like the carving of the wardrobe or the wonderful terrace/balcony space. We were welcomed by Derick, who was our contact on the ground, but nevertheless Francesca always stayed in touch with me to see if we were fine. The apartment was a bit hot when we arrived, but as soon as we opened the windows and doors there was a nice breeze and it was easy to keep the house ventilated. Also, a BIG plus is that the beds and all windows have mosquito nets, so even if you leave them open, no problems with bites! Also, the accommodation is conveniently located near the beach, 3 mins away from „Watamu mall“ with a supermarket and a coffee shop, and a 15 min walk or short boda-drive from the centre. Overall a great price for value, I would definitely come again!

This place is very special and unique. The view from the house is amazing. In the morning you can observe the sunrise from bed. The bed is very big. You also have the possibility to cooķ but the kitchen is kept very simple. Its very save due to cameras and watchmen during night. Outside you have a table with 2 chairs in the shade and 2 sun loungers. Next to the house there is a bar. Food is a bit expensive there. The location of the house is almost 25 min by motorbike in the north of Watamu. Its a bit far from town but definately worth staying there for a few nights.
