Come relax at the Lavender House's upper flat! The space is overflowing with old world charm, hardwood floors, stained glass, and a large balcony facing downtown Detroit. The house was built in 1900. It is nestled next to an ambling flower garden and wooded area, with ample space for outdoor hangs. There is a fire pit and playscape for the little ones. We are just 2 miles from downtown so you can enjoy what the city has to offer, then unwind in this lovely urban countryside.

This cozy lower flat is located just outside of Detroit! Only 15 min to Downtown; 10 min to I-75 or I-94. You will have the whole lower flat to yourself! The upper flat is not in use, so no noise from upstairs! Onsite washer & dryer! 5 minutes to the Detroit River and boat ramps! Right off the Wilkins exit of the Dequindre cut. Walkable to Eastern Market, Downtown, and the River! Easy to get to all stadiums and most major concert halls. Built by Cranbrook students for their thesis in micro-housing and revived by us in 2016! We have hosted over 500 guests ranging from a full boyscout troup to the broadway cast of The Book of Mormon to the parents of kids who play basketball at the highscool nearby.
