Thanks Nicole for being a great host. We loved the cottage and with the snow around, it felt like a winter wonderland. Taking back a lot of wonderful memories from here but we would definitely love to come back here during summer to make some more memories and enjoy the summer activities.

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

Fantastic spot on the water. Lots of bedrooms with large beds. Well stocked kitchen, thoughtful inclusions and tons of games! Would definitely stay again!

"Our stay at this homestay was absolutely perfect. The place was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was definitely the private hot tub – perfect for soaking in the evenings under the stars. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee maker, microwave, and all the cookware and utensils. There was also a smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, and even a washing machine which came in really handy. The outdoor area was lovely, with a sitting space and a small BBQ setup. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and respectful of our privacy. They also provided clear instructions and great local recommendations. Would 100% stay here again!"🥰

This Lake Nipissing rental was very much what we were looking for to do an ice fishing outing for 6 mostly retired guys – it was almost directly in from Lonely Island (about 1.5k walk). The actual cottage is very large, and it was nice having 2 ½ baths. The kitchen is very big with a huge island that also works as a pub height dinning area and there are tons of cabinets with all of the kitchen utensils/accessories you’ll need to make great meals. There are a few rough areas, which comes from a lot of use (e.g., trim work, a few chips, dents and worn chairs, shower heads, etc.), but for a northern cottage rental I would say it would be 4 to 4.5 stars and for an ice fishing choice I must give it 5 stars. I will very much consider this location again if we decide to do another ice fishing trip to this location again in the future and if you were doing a non-winter trip, I’m sure this location would be a perfect area with boat access and placement on the water for a large family outing.

The location was perfect with stunning lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. The cottage itself was immaculate – cozy yet spacious, with all the modern amenities you could ask for, while still maintaining that charming, rustic feel. The hosts have ensured that you have fun activities for everyone staying at the place. There were Kayaks, Canoe and a motorboat, Firepit with ample firewood, Outdoor BBQ grill, Indoor games, Books, DVD player with lots of classic and popular movies and many more things. Shout out to the Super Hosts Wes and Jana for taking care of the place and guests with smallest requests. They were very responsive and would immediately come up for any help whenever needed, ensuring our stay was comfortable. They would even ask us if we needed anything from the market (like Milk, Coffee, etc) whenever they went out for their work. This was super sweet!! Highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely love to visit back in the future!!

Christina’s place was a little slice of heaven! I stayed for a month and loved going swimming during the beautiful sunrises, enjoying the peaceful dock and relaxing. Also, as a mushroom enthusiast, this property had so many lovely sights - even a shrimp of the woods bloom at the end of my stay. Christina was so lovely and accommodating and really helped me feel safe and welcome. My cats loved the windows and bright open space. Would recommend this stay to anyone :)

It was a lovely place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and the barbecue was clean and ready to go. A very good spot with easy access to the water with water craft. Not too appealing for swimming due to weeds, but platform further out is available. I would definitely recommend it overall.

Such a quaint little cabin. It’s perfect for a peaceful, winter get away. This is the second time we stayed here! My wife and I are avid anglers. A short walk out on the ice and we were in 60ft of water! We’re hoping to come back in the summer sometime with our boat. Neetu is a gracious host who offers a great place for couples to retreat to in such a beautiful, lakeside area!

A beautiful, well curated space with thoughtful details, and everything you need to have a great time! Joanne was friendly, super responsive and accommodating! Her cottage provided the perfect overnight getaway for me and a couple of my best friends! We enjoyed the paddle boards, fire pit, beautiful deck with a gazebo, and spacious interior! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The drive in is a dirt road, so take your time (enjoy because it's a beautiful ride!) and be mindful of the bumps. Don't think twice about staying in the gorgeous space!

this place is everything and more.. its secluded..but close to the lake.. sadly it was raining and we could not visit the lake.. but the cottage had everything we needed.. it was warm anf welcoming.. very clean.. had all the amenities...Darren was soo kind always offering to take us to the lake making sure we knew where everything was.. drew us a map which was helpful..Nadine was really prompt and accommodating of our request.. 10/10 would recommend and visit again..

This stay was the most perfect for my Family and I, we felt just at home and the surroundings were beautiful! Cozy and peaceful, just what we needed this weekend! Vanessa was very quick to respond to us when we needed something. I recommend this place to everyone!

Daniel was super flexible with check in, was very communicative throughout and was overall a great host. The adorable cabin has electricity (solar-with a back up generator), and everything you need for your stay if your into mostly off grid living. it's so quiet and private. Their dogs are so friendly and still respective of your space. I can't say enough good things! Definitely worth the trip if you're looking for some peace!!

We had a great stay at Katie's place. It was a great quiet getaway to relax with plenty of activities close by. The place was very clean and well furnished and made for a very welcoming stay. Katie and Dave were very kind and helpful making sure we had everything we needed for the stay. Would recommend this as a great place to stay for anyone.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The jacuzzi and sauna were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings made it a great escape from the city. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Host made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of games and activities for the kids, all our questions were answered ahead of time. Very positive experience, will recommend to friends!

I can't thank Tiffany and Pat enough for being amazing hosts and helping me through a difficult time. I stayed there on two separate occasions. The location of the house is right on the lake and sitting and watching the sun rise was beautiful. Narrows Convience Store is down the street and so is Mikisew Provinvial Park. The house has all the amenities (more than any other Airbnb I have stayed at). I would rats it more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks again so much!

What a magical place! The cabin was exactly as described and had a really warm, comfy feeling. We were travelling as a couple with 4 young kids (no small feat!), and we were totally comfortable and found the cabin stocked with everything we needed. Travelling in the middle of quite a big snowstorm, we were a little concerned about finding the place and the long driveway in. The directions, however, were really clear and the driveway was really well ploughed, and this was so appreciated. Matt and Lori also checked in frequently to make sure everything was great. Thank you for a great little escape!

We celebrated our anniversary at Jen’s Shamayim Cabin to disconnect and enjoy some winter activities. With no cell reception, we used our devices only to capture photos and videos. Jen greeted us, gave a brief tour, and recommended activities. It was the perfect winter getaway, with plenty of snow for outdoor activities. The weather was great. We cooked dinner on a campfire, relaxed in the sauna, and ended the evening by the fire with hot chocolate. The next day, we tackled two trails. One involved snowshoeing and trekking up Little Mountain to a scenic lookout. After taking in the views, we made our way down a steep slope, using ropes to assist with the descent. We also crossed a creek along the way before completing the loop. Later, we visited the frozen Bang’s Bay and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The area is huge, with more trails and activities we didn’t have time to explore. Jen and Tzach were wonderful hosts, and we highly recommend their cabins. We’ll definitely be back!

Can't say enough praise about this place. I was on the fence when booking this because it was 4 to 5 hour drive from Toronto and we only had 3 day weekend to spare. When we arrived at the place we were astonished by the beauty of it. The place sits on the waterfall between 2 lakes. We were using a canoe and kayaks to explore both lakes. We hiked 2 trails. The nights there are amazing and you can see all the stars. We were offered some fresh harvest from the vegetable garden. We used sauna at night and briefly jumped in to the hot tub. Having neighbors cabins close to ours we were not bothered by any of this, despite some reviews saying that it was noisy. We were absolutely happy in our say. 10/10 would book again if I'm on the east coast of Canada and have a weekend to spare. I wish we could stay there more. Patrick and Amy were friendly and helpful, we had great chats and saw each other on the trails.
