Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!

Lagoon Lookout

Westchester Lagoon is one of the most coveted locations in Anchorage. People come from all over the city to enjoy the bird sanctuary, access the coastal trail (which starts across the street), and to look at the most beautiful sunsets only the Turnagain Arm and our Sleeping Lady can produce. Far enough from the main street (Minnesota Drive) to be quiet and peaceful, this bottom unit provides a five minute drive (or fifteen minute walk) to downtown. The unit has comfort and funk.
