We had the most wonderful time away! So beautiful and peaceful as well as feeling totally private. The only issue we had was not staying long enough! The area is totally secure for your dogs to wander around with you. Only thing we had thought was that the cattle etc were closer to the property from the photos but we didn't see them which was a good thing as we then didn't need worry too much for our dog. We would definitely want to come back! For longer next time.

Jan was a wonderful host. My wife and I could not have found a better place to stay in Hermanus: the space is beautiful and the location could not have been better.

A rustic gem and great stay to forget about the hustle and stress. The hot tub and pool were so inviting. Will definitely be back to enjoy the views from the hot tub. The lack of internet and poor cell signal was a blessing. Thanks to Marinda for clear directions and sorting out the gas.

Hele fijne accommodatie op een rustige locatie. Direct aan het water. Ook erg schoon en alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig!

Amazing location with a cottage providing rustic charm. Several hikes to beautiful vistas and a lovely outdoor setting to enjoy the sunset. Nearest supermarket is 17km away, so be sure to bring everything with you. Lovely pond for zip line and canoe activities

we absolutely loved the house, the surroundings and all that Southbroom has to offer. The golf course is the centre of all activity and we spent lots of time there. All the beaches are spectacular and happily safe and wonderful to walk on. the house is very comfortable and well laid out. The maid, Amanda is a real asset and we were very happy to have her. we would love to return this house next year.

We stayed at Sandi’s property for the month of February 2024. The house, which is situated in gated safe and secure parkland, is exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the living areas are very comfortable. The TV/satellite channels are comprehensive and the Wi-Fi worked beautifully. The patio area is large and a lovely space to sit, eat, barbeque, and relax in the company of the Bushbucks and other friendly wildlife. Fantastic highly recommendable places to breakfast, lunch and dine, are all within a 5 minute drive, as is the magnificent Brenton on Sea beach. The regular load sheddings posed no problems as an inverter is in place. On top of all that, Sandi was on hand to advise and support us if needed. Her local knowledge, professionalism and good nature was invaluable and was ‘the icing on the cake’ of our sta y, she is indeed a ‘Superhost’ and such a lovely person.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Nico's Melkbos Inn. He is a good communicator and checked if our check in went smoothly. I would definitely recommend visiting Melkbos Inn. The beach is about a 2 minute walk down the street and the residents in the area are very friendly. Thanks again Nico. Definitely coming back.

This place is an absolute dream, the location especially. Sitting at the fire pit watching the sunset over the dunes is fantastic with the wild horses peacefully roaming around. Accommodation is as described, no frills but a well equipped kitchen and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back if we travel to South Africa again.

Prachtig uitzicht. Groot huis, wel wat veroudert waardoor het wat minder schoon ‘aanvoelt’ en ook wat rommeliger eruit ziet. De host is zeer vriendelijk en direct aanwezig wanneer er problemen zijn. Geweldig strand direct voor de deur en leuke restaurant Walskipper met heelrijk eten in de buurt!

As a group of surfers it was absolutely ideal! Great location and all the amenities we could ask for and heaps of space. Will book again!
