Lovely lake house that sits next to federal hunting ground. This is the perfect place to hunt, fish, bird watch or just play on the lake. Boat dock and lake are a short 10 minute walk down the hill (about a football field walk, wear walking shoes). Kitchen is fully furnished with spices and all. There are 2 outdoor fire pit areas. Great home away from home. An hour west of KS City and 40 mins south of Topeka. Phones only work with WIFI assist. Great place to unplug and enjoy a slice of heaven

There’s a Bald Eagle that often perches in a nearby waterfront tree looking for fish. If you’re patient enough, you can see him swoop down and grab one! A train does pass by a couple of blocks away on occasion and sounds its horn, so light sleepers may need a white noise app or provided fan. Non smoking/clean air property.

The “Fox Den” is nestled in the coveted, quiet Old West Lawrence neighborhood, 4 blocks north of the KU football stadium. Walk downtown and marvel at some of Lawrence’s most historic and beautiful homes in Old West Lawrence, just off of the downtown strip on Mass or stay a little closer and walk the adjacent community garden. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one queen bed and one full sized bed, one bathroom, and full kitchen with an ample stocked kitchen, stove, and refrigerator.

Dad's Country Retreat

  This small cabin was built for my father during the pandemic so he could spend time out in the country. Situated just off the highway on 5 tranquil acres it too can now be your weekend getaway.  Large enough for up to 3 people to stay if two sleep in the queen size Murphy Bed and the cot is set up in the sunroom. The space is best for 1 or 2 guests though. It is located very close to our neighbor so quiet is important. No pets, children, or smoking please.

A 3 person kayak is available for your use, as well as a fire ring and lawn chairs.
