Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

We had a lovely stay in Lynn's little cottage in their garden. She had some great recommendations for walks in the area, and we felt right at home. Has everything you could ever need here! Would definitely recomend

This was my third time staying at Antonia's beautiful place. Stunning surroundings, beautiful walks at your doorstep. Lots to do and visit in the local area. The Shed is super cosy and very comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay at Karen’s property just outside of Bath. We’ve stayed before as it ticks all of our boxes - convenient location, kitchen facilities and parking. It’s also very cosy and we thoroughly enjoyed the luxury of a log fire. She left us little food treats for breakfast and I love the fact she leaves extra, common sense items out like an alarm clock! Happy to stay again if she’ll have us!!

Great place to stay, had a lovely weekend with our 4 year old. Longleat 10 minutes away perfect location. Lovely host, plenty of information for us to make the most of our stay. Would happily stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay for the Bank holiday weekend at this beautiful cabin. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so soundly. It was so wonderful to wake up in the morning and open all the windows, so we could sit in bed and take in the beautiful views. David and Jill were so friendly and hospitable — we will definitely be back!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Emily’s shepherds hut, with our Beagle. The village is quiet, beautiful and clean. The local pub was perfect to dinner on the day of arrival. The drive to the new forest was along picturesque country roads and super easy. We also went to Bath for the day as well during our stay and I would highly recommend! The shepherds hut has everything you could need, and Emily was super helpful when booking. We really appreciated being left to our own devices for our stay and would absolutely recommend if you’re after a relaxed, out of city experience. A magical stay, thank you Emily x

Firstly, we will definatley be back in the future! We decided to stay due to its proximity to Longleat but also the coast. The pod did not disapoint, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The weather was lovely which meant the far reaching views were beautiful. Such a lovely peaceful place to stay

What a beautiful stay we had at the luxury shepherds hut. Everything was so carefully thought out- from the rose petals on the bed to all the finishes around the hut. The hut was well heated and had everything we needed. Went to a day trip to Frome which we really recommend. Charlotte is a friendly and responsive host.

My 6 year old son and I stayed here this week and it was absolutely perfect for us. Secluded and peaceful but also fun for my son who enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the firepit and watching the bats. Charlie was very welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. The location was great for us and we went to the beach as well as Longleat Safari Park and Marwell Zoo. We would definitely recommend it!!

Absolutely beautiful cabin to spend a weekend away! My partner and I absolutely loved our stay, the combination of being out in nature with the wood fired hot tub was just amazing. The location is fantastic too, as we drove down to Durdle Door on the Saturday and spent the day in Bath on the Sunday. Angela is a fantastic host and we will definitely be back!

Little gem in the countryside. Beautiful location with wonderful rolling countryside a plenty. The Pond Barn - has all you need for a great break- well equipped kitchen - coffee machine (Nespresso) is always welcome. Lovely chill areas both inside and out. Wi-Fi (in case you cant survive without) Hot Tub was amazing and welcome after a long walk. Great local pubs - Rose and Thistle was excellent and if you like walking its a short stroll (3/4miles) You will not be disappointed with this rental its great to unwind and chill. Thanks Samantha for the small welcome pack and also keeping in touch.

A well designed compact & comfortable place to stay with our dog….a Gem of a find. Peaceful & private. We liked the fact we had an enclosed space for our dog & the porch entrance for feeding & wellies etc. The extra thoughtfulness of doggy bowls & even treats! Also milk in the fridge with tea, coffee & biscuits added to our welcoming. Although our stay was to visit family its within walking distance to the town & green fields .Driving distance to many places such as Nunney Castle . We look forward to further visits.

We had a great stay in Aldbourne, made possible by the perfect place to rest up at the end of the day. The host was flexible with check-in, and very quick to respond to our messages. All in all, exactly what we wanted!

The garden room was the perfect overnight stay for myself and my little dog. It had all we needed, beautiful area and quiet. The breakfast box was a nice offering with warm pastries and fresh strawberries, delicious. Woke up to the dawn chorus st 4.45! It broke my journey up from Cornwall to Kent so it worked well. It was a bit further from the A303 than I thought, but we drove through lovely scenery and the sun was shining. Kate was a lovely host, thank you.

We had an amazing weekend away at the Shephard’s Hut. It’s in a beautiful location overlooking a field of sheep (and lambs!). Nicola is a fantastic host and the hut had all the necessary amenities. The hot tub was warmed prior to arrival which was a lovely touch. We would highly recommended the Shephard’s Hut.

The cabin was super cute and in a beautiful location. William did a great job at making sure we had everything we needed. It was quiet and very peaceful, we barely ever heard the road. The sheep and cat was always a delight to see in the morning. We would definitely return again if we’re ever in the area!

Amazing views in a beautiful location. Audrey was friendly and helpful and had a lot of knowledge of Wick Farm which was interesting as we were going to a wedding there on the Friday. It was a treat to have cereal and croissants with a pint of milk in the fridge, there was also plenty of tea and coffee. A lovely bunch of flowers by the window too. The little touches have a huge impact. Thank you Audrey 😊

We had an amazing two-night stay at Bob, the place was so peaceful with beautiful walks in every direction. The hot tub was especially lovely in the colder evenings. Julie and Duncan were such friendly and amazing hosts as well! Thank you both for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay! The Shepherd’s Hut was cozy, clean, and peaceful. It’s the perfect location for serene country walks and a visit to Bath city. We appreciated the warm welcome and all the little thoughtful touches in the space. Will definitely visit again
