Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. Thanks for a great experience John!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved staying at Bob & Julie’s lake house. 10/10! The house itself looks exactly like the photos with so many accommodations you usually don’t expect in an air bnb. Amazing kitchen (something I look for since I love to cook). I cooked a lot this weekend and it felt like home! The backyard is perfect. We were outside most of the day either by the lake, the fire pit or in the hot tub at night just loving life. We made A LOT of s’mores. The house is literally ON the lake with picture perfect views and the surroundings and the lake are kept SO clean. Bob and Julie were amazing hosts before, during and after our stay. Very quick to respond and always friendly. We’ve already told them we would love to book another weekend here again and probably for an extra night this time!

We had a very nice stay, the house is like the pictures and everything is clean and neat. Jolanta is a great host very friendly and helped us with everything.

We had a great stay over President's Day weekend and I highly recommend staying here. It had all of the things we were looking for - hot tub, fireplace (wood stove which was even nicer for all the heat it gave off), sauna (amazing), and a fully stocked kitchen. The place is nicely redone with 4 cozy bedrooms (especially the two upstairs). We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. Simon left us detailed instructions and we had no issues in finding it and settling in. As the weather took a turn for the worse, we spent most of a day cozy in the house. Our dogs were also very comfortable and loved the large backyard. The house decor is very tastefully done, and not only looks great but looks like special effort has been taken to make everything comfortable and easy to use. Thank you for sharing your home!!

This place is absolutely awesome! My partner, my best friend, and I came here to celebrate a birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location! There was so much to do! Even on days when it was rainy, we had a ton to keep us busy and entertained! Baruch was very accommodating and provided awesome hospitality, making sure that we knew where everything was, how to properly get to and access different parts of the property, and checked in to make sure that we were enjoying our time. He was a fantastic host! This property is very private, so you can relax in peace, in the beautiful nature and architecture that surrounds you. We had an awesome time playing games like pool, life-size connect four, etc. Given the amount of space that this house provides, you can spread out to enjoy all of it, as there are four big bedrooms and three bathrooms! You can feel comfortable booking this place, as the price is very fair, and you will not be disappointed! Definitely book here when you can!

We absolutely loved our stay! Giancarlo and Francesca were responsive and attentive hosts. We initially misunderstood the check-out time, thinking it was 11:30 AM instead of 10:00 AM. Once we realized our mistake, we asked if we could extend our check-out to 11:30 AM, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Although it may seem like a small gesture, it made a huge difference for us. Thank you for being our host. I highly recommend booking this cozy home!

Our stay at Johnna’s cottage was wonderful! Even before our trip the hosts were responsive and welcoming and very helpful in planning our stay in the Poconos! We had a great time and felt right at home. The location was awesome - peaceful and right in nature but still within quick driving distance to our planned activities and local stores. We had a relaxing weekend thanks to the warm vibe of Johnna’s home and awesome backyard area and would definitely stay again!! :)
