The house is near the idyllic village and beaches of Instow ( perfect for dog walkers) and Westward Ho! It is close to Exmoor and is set between the towns of Bideford and Barnstaple. Days can be spent exploring the Tarka Trail, (great for cycling), surfing at Westward Ho!, relaxing or shopping. Westward Ho! (6 miles) or Saunton (12 miles) and Croyde (14 miles). Instow has several great restaurants/pubs, cafes, a deli and a shop - all within a mile and a half of the property. by car or foot.

Shops, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance and our local beach, Saunton Sands, is just 2.5 miles away. Great for surfing and days out. Joining the air bnb community since sadly losing my dad to a battle with cancer, we have tried to create some positivity by creating something that supports the family finically and mentally. Centrally-located place in the heart of Barnstaple Town. With Breath taking estuary views in both directions, then past that onto rolling hills. Perfectly located on the 'Tarka Trail', only a short walk from the town centre of Barnstaple. Great transport links when working in the area / commuting.

Cottage nr Braunton with log burner & river views

Woolstone Cottage is situated in the hillside village of Ashford with views over The River Taw. It is a 10 minute walk from The Tarka Trail with traffic free cycling, walking and running alongside the river. The trail connects to the market town of Barnstaple and the village of Braunton with its surf shops and cafes. The Heanton Court Inn is within walking distance along the trail. Saunton Sands beach is only a 15 minute drive with its three and half miles of golden sands and surf.
