Το Meteora Shelter I βρίσκεται κάτω ακριβώς από το μοναστήρι της Αγίας Τριάδας και μπροστά από τον τεράστιο βράχο του Άλσου, με εκπληκτική θέα. Είναι ένας πλήρως ανακαινισμένος χώρος που περιλαμβάνει έργα σύγχρονης τέχνης φιλοτεχνημένα από την καλλιτέχνιδα Μαγδαληνή Θεοδώρου. Από εδώ ξεκινάει μονοπάτι για τα μοναστήρια των Μετεώρων. Die Zimmer sind mit jeweils zwei Einzelbetten, Kleiderschränke und Kommoden sowie Klimaanlagen und Fernseher ausgestattet. Außerdem hat jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad. Eine große Küche und ein Wohnzimmer (beide Zimmer haben jeweils auch eine Klimaanlage) vervollständigen das Haus. Auf der großen Terrasse lässt sich ein gemütlicher Abend verbringen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich ca. 4km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Umliegende Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Meteora-Klöster sind in ca. 20min erreichbar.
