1er séjour en Crète, le choix a été de se positionner à l’ouest pour visiter en 1 semaine que l’ouest. Kalives est donc bien localisé (25 mn de l’aéroport). La maison est aussi bien située : à la fois au calme et proche de nombreux restaurants sur la plage et à proximité à pied d’un supermarché. La maison est très spacieuse avec ses 3 belles chambres avec chacune sa salle de bain (4 toilettes) . Elle est également jolie, très propre et très bien équipée. À notre arrivée à 20h30 c’est très appréciable d’avoir le nécessaire dans le frigo pour 24h et les produits ménagers. Nous y étions mi-avril (we pascal) avec deux ados (de 14 et 17 ans) qui ont également très appréciés l’endroit. Le seul petit regret c’est de ne pas avoir pu profiter de la piscine car les températures étaient trop fraîches (Baignade en mer plus facile). Nous avons pu quand même manger dehors, sauf 2-3 soirs. Anthonis (propriétaire) est très prévoyant et à l’écoute de ses hôtes. Bonne surprise : le ménage mi-parcours.

Our family had an amazing time here! It was a great central location for excursions, and had several restaurants within walking distance as well as some flat roads for jogging. The house was perfect for our needs with a great layout. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the clean modern furnishings. Minoas’s communication was excellent! A wonderful host who provided kitchen basics for the start of our stay and a lovely gift at the end. We would love to stay here if we return to Crete.

Vor allem Ourania - Dafnis mutter und Malfada (Dafnis Hund unter der Obhut von Ourania) haben uns wirklich zu Hause fühlen lassen. Sie zeigte uns was kretische Gastfreundschaft ist inklusive lokalem Essen. Am Abend nach hause zu kommen und manchmal unter tags da zu bleiben war immer eine Freude - sowohl unter dem wunderbaren Maulberbaum im Innenhof als auch im schönen Haus. Ausflugsziele gab es genug - schöne Strände und gutes Essen auch. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Unser Urlaub mit unseren drei Kindern ( fünf Jahre und drei Jahre) war perfekt! Das Haus ist wunderschön der Außenbereich riesig der Pool einfach nur traumhaft und vor allem der Ausblick ist unbeschreiblich schön. Es gab jeden Tag etwas Neues zu entdecken, in der Umgebung, alles super mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir bekamen regelmäßig die Wäsche gewechselt und für die Kinder sogar kleine Geschenke gebracht. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub für uns Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit bei euch!!

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

We had a wonderful week at Lina’s villa. It really is a beautiful place with a fantastic view. Close to some fabulous beaches and countryside. Lina was super helpful and friendly and really responsive. The pool was gorgeous. Bedrooms really comfortable. It is about 3km from the village and the road does turn and wind but we got used to it pretty fast and it is not so narrow and mostly lit at night. It is semi detached and the other villa had visitors but they were pretty quiet and we did not feel disturbed. Very glad we chose it

We stayed at the end of October and could not have been happier with this villa. it was spotless, spacious and comfortable for 4 adults and 4 children. The access to the water park for free was excellent for the kids and the last day of opening for the season was on the day we left. The facilities were excellent and the lovely pool and outdoor barbecue area were all great to use. Lots of local supermarkets and restaurants within a km and good access to the beach. It's a first floor property which might be an issue with the steps but we liked having views from every room to the sea and beach. We couldn't really ask for anything else in our stay and if we come back to Crete we would look to stay here again. It's a short drive from Chania. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, offering help with hire cars and local amenities, but they left us to it. We had a great holiday in Crete and a lot of this was down to this superb accommodation we were lucky to find available for our stay

Dimitri et Eleni sont des hôtes au top, très accueillant, flexible sur les horaires d’arrivée, ils ont le sens de l’hospitalité et font preuve d’une grande humanité et gentillesse, ma famille et moi avons passé des vacances incroyable, nous avons eu la chance aussi de découvrir les spécialités que fait Dimitri, comme son fromage, Son vin etc… la maison est impeccable, très propres, les équipements dans le jardin sont très pratique lorsqu’on a des enfants, comme la balançoire, les jeux pour enfants, le trampoline etc, la piscine dispose de barrière de sécurité donc c’est très rassurant pour les enfants en bas âge. Je recommande à 100% la location de cette maison, mention spéciale également à Christos avec qui j’ai pu échanger par message sur air bnb et qui m’a donné toutes les informations nécessaires. Je reviendrais 👌 j’ai fais environ 10-15 air bnb et pour le moment c’est le meilleur

This is a perfect place to stay in Apokoronas. Michael is kind and responsive host. Fokion’s place is spotless. There is also a lot of care put into details. The garden is lovely and the view spectacular. It’s apparent that a lot of love went into putting it all together. We thank you for an excellent stay.

Notre séjour en famille a été encore plus agréable qu'espéré. Nous nous sommes très vite sentis comme chez nous. La maison (Polymnia) est exactement comme décrite et illustrée par les photos. La vue et l'environnement sont incroyables, alors que la piscine a enchanté les enfants. La maison est parfaitement entretenue et propre. Les lits sont confortables et les climatisations dans les chambres sont très efficaces. L'équipement global est complet. La cuisine comporte tous le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner, avec également les condiments de base. Chrysi est une hôte extrêmement disponible agréable dans le contact. Très réactive, elle a toujours répondu à nos demandes, aussi petites soient-elles. Elle aime sa région et n'hésite pas à partager sa connaissance par la biais de précieux conseils. Nous recommandons sans retenue cet endroit tout simplement magique.

Unser Aufenthalt in Nikos Haus war einfach großartig! Die Dachterrasse bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick, den man sogar aus dem Whirlpool genießen kann. Die Lage ist ruhig und entspannend, ohne dass man sich eingeschränkt fühlt. Das Haus ist geräumig und voller liebevoller Details, die für eine besondere Atmosphäre sorgen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können dieses Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

This is a great place to stay in if you are looking for a lovely villa and pool in a very quiet and private location. The main sound is the goat bells ringing across the hills, yes really! Although it’s in the countryside there is easy access to the coast and the nearest village Vamos. Recommend trying the restaurants in Vamos. The hosts Judy and Mike are fantastic and are there to help if needed but otherwise give you space to enjoy this lovely place. Thanks very much Judy and Mike!!

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt bei Michalis! Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal, mit wunderschönem Ausblick und einer ruhigen Umgebung. Michalis und sein Sohn haben uns herzlich empfangen, auch wenn wir etwas später ankamen, weil wir die für uns schönere Route durch die Stadt Rethymno genommen hatten. Zur Begrüßung wartete eine Karaffe Raki und gekühltes Wasser auf uns – eine sehr nette Geste von Michalis. Besonders genossen haben wir das Frühstücken auf dem Balkon, mit Blick aufs kretische Meer und umgeben von Hühnern, Enten, Katzen und dem freundlichen Hund Bruno. Unser Sohn war begeistert und hätte am liebsten alle Tiere mitgenommen! Das Haus selbst ist groß, gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Michalis’ Vater überraschte uns sogar mit frischen Eiern, eine wirklich liebevolle Aufmerksamkeit. Insgesamt ist diese Unterkunft ein Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Alexandra’s place finished off our holiday perfectly. It was better than the photos, with everything you needed. Cristina was great, very friendly and helpful, happy to welcome her to Australia if she comes for a holiday. There are quite a few restaurants around and it is only a short drive into Chania Old town (depending on traffic). The location was great as you could book tours or hire a boat. From this location we went to Balos, winery, olive oil tour and got to know the area. Would definitely stay again or recommend friends to stay. Thanks for making Crete so memorable.

We had a fantastic time in Chania, the location is very convenient. During March we had the possibility to use the rooftop to enjoy the weather and the view. Everything we needed we had in the apartment. Nice restaurants were in walking distance. We also liked the conversation with the owner and his brother. Everything was easy and nice, we also used the street market every Saturday just 5 minutes away to buy fresh vegetables and fruits directly from the farmers. We already are making plans to come back and spend more time in Chania. Thank you Nektarios for your help and your kindness.

Wir haben uns in dem steinernen, kleinen Sommerhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Der von einem alten Weinstock überdachte Innenhof hat uns begeistert. Abends konnte man ihn gemütlich und schön beleuchteten. Gefreut hat uns, dass in der Küche alle notwendigen Gewürze vorhanden waren und zur Begrüßung eine Flasche Rotwein auf dem Tisch stand. Die Lage in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße aber dennoch nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand und vom alten Dorfkern Kolumbarys ist ideal. Die Übergabe und die Kommunikation mit Dimitrios war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter! We felt very comfortable in the small stone summer house. The courtyard covered by an old vine was very charming. In the evening, it was cozy and beautifully lit. We were pleased that all the necessary spices were available in the kitchen and a bottle of red wine was on the table to welcome us. Stayed here for a week late Sept. Was fantastic. the best AB&A I think so far. Big place, very secure, easy walk to beach and to old town (once you get your bairings there are little short cuts-it just took us a while. Great bathroom- seperate loo downstairs too. big bed in main room . Fully equiped kitchen- although we mostly ate out- loads restaurants in beach area and town. We thought prices were good eating out. would defo come back again. location and actual place was great. We spent days on beach and nights in the old town. Apartment was lovely and quiet at night and very secure. Little outside space- great for cooling off. Little supermarket round corner- ok but would suggest going bigger super market (by Zara) to get supplies.about a 10 min walk once you get your bairings. Harbour a must in eve just to sit and have a drink- is beautiful- maybe eat in the little streets behind.

Vi hadde tre veldig fine uker i huset til Sophia. Sophia og Nikos var veldig hjelpsomme. De hadde gjort huset skikkelig til vi kom, til og med frokost i kjøleskapet og deilig olivenolje og vin. Vi manglet et par små ting, dette ordnet de for oss med en gang. De kom innom innimellom for å rense bassenget og sjekke at alt var i orden. Vi reiste med tre små barn, så bassenget var flittig i bruk og svært godt likt av barna. Er også gåavstand til stranden. I hagen var det lekehytte som minstemann satt stor pris på, ellers alt av babyutstyr og leker, og spill til de større barna. Vi var her out of season, så det var dessverre ingenting som var åpnet. Det var gjorde det litt kjedelig, og vi ble også avhengig av bil eller buss. I høysesong er det åpne restauranter og butikker i nærheten. Kan virkelig anbefale å bo her. Tusen takk for fine uker!

Meine 4 besten Freundinnen und ich haben eine Woche in dem Häuschen von Tom verbracht und wir waren von vorne bis hinten begeistert! Die Aussicht von der wunderschönen Terrasse war traumhaft und wir haben es geliebt, hier zu frühstücken, Abend zu essen, an dem Grill zu grillen oder einfach nur zusammen zu sitzen und Spiele zu spielen. Das Haus selbst war ebenfalls richtig hübsch und sehr ordentlich. Alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. Die Räume sind in wirklich viel geräumiger, als sie auf den Fotos scheinen, was uns sehr positiv überrascht hat. Die Küche war mit den wichtigsten Utensilien ausgestattet. Die Dusche hatte immer warmes Wasser und der Duschkopf einen guten Wasserdruck. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren sauber. Jedes Zimmer ist meiner AC ausgestattet. Ab und zu wurden wir von einem zucker-süßen Dackel besucht. Tom ist sehr nett und offen für Empfehlungen! Wir können die Unterkunft von Tom mehr als empfehlen und würden uns freuen, irgendwann wiederzukommen. :)

Casa molto bella e arredata in modo funzionale. Posizione panoramica con bellissima vista. Necessario avere a disposizione una macchina per gli spostamenti. Molto comoda la terrazza coperta nella quale si può mangiare. Ottima l’accoglienza da parte di Stavros, ci ha fatto trovare al nostro arrivo anche delle buonissime specialità cretesi che abbiamo mangiato la prima sera a cena. Consiglio la casa a chi cerca un posto tranquillo e lontano dal caos.

We had a fantastic stay at Seaside Villa Lavrys. The villa itself is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area with a lovely view. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, but do keep in mind that you’ll need a car to get around as the location is a bit remote. Taxi transportation from Chania costs around €30. What truly made our experience special was our host, Alex. From the moment we booked, Alex was incredibly responsive and attentive, always available to answer any questions we had. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay, offering great local tips and assistance whenever needed. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference in our trip. Alex’s family was also very warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay in Crete, and Alex’s hospitality made it even better.

Het verblijf is zeer mooi gelegen met mooi uitzicht op de bergen en de vallei. Het is redelijk afgelegen en je hebt een auto nodig om er te komen, maar dat maakt het verblijf op deze locatie juist bijzonder. Met de auto is het een paar minuten rijden naar een kloof en een mooie waterval. Het is zo’n 20 minuten rijden naar verschillende mooie (redelijk rustige, ondanks het hoogseizoen) stranden en een klooster. De wifi was bij aankomst even zoeken, maar na wat hulp van de buren verderop werkte het over het algemeen redelijk (wij verbleven in het onderste gedeelte en de modem staat in het bovenste gedeelte). Het appartement is ruim en fijn ingericht, net als het terras. Het enige dat werd gemist in de keuken waren een schaar en een scherp mes. Het bed is wellicht wat smal met zijn tweeën gedurende warme zomerse nachten. Voor de yoga liefhebbers; mijn vrouw baalde ervan dat ze haar mat niet bij zich had, een prachtige plek om yoga te beoefenen. Bedankt voor een fijn verblijf!

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans ce logement ! Situé à proximité d'une plage magnifique et idéale pour les familles, ainsi que de bons restaurants, l'emplacement est tout simplement parfait. Le jardin est un véritable havre de paix, avec des jouets et des affaires de plage mis à disposition, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Giana nous a accueillis chaleureusement à notre arrivée, avec des gâteaux et du raki, une attention qui nous a beaucoup touchés. Le seul point a avoir en tête, qui n'est pas directement lié au logement, est la qualité du wifi dans la région. Elle est plutôt mauvaise, ce qui peut rendre le télétravail difficile. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et reviendrons avec plaisir lors de notre prochain séjour. Merci encore à Gianna son leur accueil et sa disponibilité !
