With original finishes from the 1890s and views of the Moorish castle from the bedroom’s south-facing balcony, you’ll be immersed in Sintra's idyllic village. Centrally located, we’re just around the corner from some of the best restaurants and cafes in town, and only a 3 minute walk from the train station to Lisbon. There is also free parking on the street in front of the house.

La Galette - The Windmill

Located in the heart of Sintra-Cascais National Park, The Windmill features 1 double bedroom, 1 living area with television, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom and a garden with private swimming pool (3m x 2m), lounge area, barbecue, eating area & hammock. After an intense day in Lisbon and the frenzy of the city center, relax with the family in this peaceful accommodation among trees and flowers. You can also stretch out in our hammocks (summer period). The garden and patio are shared with our house. We will be very happy to talk with you and share our culture. Central heating is only turned on in winter (2h/day). Access to the house is via stairs. We have a cat that roams freely in the garden.
