Romantic Hideaway - 1850's Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse was built in 1850, and has been beautifully restored. It's got a long and rich history, dating back to the Irish Famine. My dad went to school here, we lived in it as a family growing up and I wanted to share some of the history of the buildng with visitors. It's been updated with fast (150mb) fiber internet, and it's very cozy and warm. We just added a modern, private workspace outside for remote working - fast internet, private, monitors, great for Zoom calls!

Golden Mile Cottage comprises of three spacious double ensuite bedrooms. The bright and airy kitchen has cream country style fittings with sitting for 6, it is quipped with all the essentials. The kitchen’s open plan area leads into to a living area, a relaxing space that looks out through patio doors onto the south facing terrace and lawn. Sycamore Cottage is a lovely detached cottage situated in the village of Killeenaran, fifteen miles from Galway. All ground floor the cottage can sleep four people in two double bedrooms one with an en-suite shower room as well as a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and oil-burning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Ideally a car is necessary when staying at this cottage.
