With its gabled front door access, off-road parking for one car on a gated driveway and just a five-minute walk from the heart of the popular and vibrant Georgian market town of Melbourne, 'Spring Vale Cottage' is the perfect base for someone wanting to stay for a couple of nights with work or for a couple's weekend getaway to explore beautiful South Derbyshire. Lovingly renovated and extended in 2023, the cottage is divided into a living/bedroom, kitchenette, shower room and hallway/workplace.

The Outhouse - Ground Floor Studio (Entire place)

The 'Outhouse' is a ground floor self contained studio which has been lovingly renovated and opened to our first guests in December 2019. Just a 2-3 minute walk from the centre of Melbourne, a beautiful georgian market town with a fabulous selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants & shops. The studio is divided into a shower room, kitchen with the living area and bedroom in one open plan space. The Outhouse sleeps 2 people in a double bed, with the benefit of air-con during the hot summer months.

The Green Room, whether you are here for pleasure or work, you may come and go at ease with your own private access and outside stairs into your own sunken garden. Our light and airy basement bedroom with kitchenette, fridge, microwave and coffee machine, has a spacious dining space doubling as a tranquil desk and private ensuite bathroom. When the weather is kind enjoy your own sunken garden with outdoor dining space and lighting. Kick back, relax and unwind in this calm, stylish Green space.

Escape to the South Derbyshire market town of Melbourne with a stay at our cosy 3 bedroom cottage. Surrounded by historic landmarks such as Melbourne Hall, Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold Reservoir. Enjoy morning walks along scenic country trails, afternoon visits to nearby stately homes and evenings relaxing in the cottage or in one of the many local restaurants that are all within a few minutes walk. The cottage has recently been fully refurbished and is decorated to a very high standard.

Parking is available for a maximum of three vehicles.

Huckleberry cottage Ingleby is a quiet hamlet nestled in the south Derbyshire countryside. Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

Conveniently located for the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with it’s Castle, country walks on the door step with the added bonus of a local Public House (The Black Lion) selling a selection of real ales, across the lane. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. Charging of electric vehicles by prior arrangement only, at an additional cost. Pets, you must inform us of breed prior to booking.

We are nestled in the garden of Poplars Farm House located in Stanton-by-Bridge in the Trent River valley. The accommodation is built on the site of the old dairy and other homes around us are also former farmyard buildings. The apartment is self-contained in a quiet, cosy location. The new facilities are perfectly suited for singles or couples looking for a quiet retreat.
