Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)

It has stunning 180 degrees views of the valley and has fantastic local walks and bike routes from the doorstep. Local attractions include The Brecon Beacons National Park, Cardiff city and Bay, Bike Park Wales, Cwmcarn Forest, Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and The Big Pit National Coal Museum.
