We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

This place is wonderful. It was very well appointed. The lake is private and peaceful. There are large windows in the house overlooking looking the lake and a huge comfortable couch. The hottub is amazing bonus. The bedrooms were clean and well-designed. We will certainly be back!

The place is filled with love of Pirabakaran, we can feel the efforts on all the items and supplies he provides to make our living experience way much easier and nicer. The house and space are nice and comfortable, recommended for having a relaxing lakefront cottage/house getaway with the people you love. amenities are good: kayak, floating, fire pit, huge lakefront backyard, bbq grill, pool table, darts, big living and dining area

My family and I spent Christmas at Michelle’s lovely cottage and we had a great time! The cottage itself is very nice and cozy; in person, it looks even better than in pictures. It had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub is a must as it has an amazing view of the lake; and we also enjoyed a little walk around with snowshoes available at the cottage. The host, Michelle, was very kind and responsive. She had the cottage decorated for Christmas, which was perfect for our gathering and created a very cozy atmosphere. We will definitely consider going back during summer as the place has many in-the-house amenities and private access to the lake. Thank you, Michelle, for hosting us!

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

the space was gorgeous! the views out of all the windows were awesome. the hot tub/deck/dock space were also to die for! Randy gave us a tour of the space including our private deck with bbq and the shared outdoor spaces. Having a host actually meet and greet is something that is rarer and rarer on air bnb lately and my wife and I liked the experience. Will be back again!

Hunt was super responsive and a great host for the stay. We got great recommendations for places to eat, and the location was very convenient. It was a lovely getaway location!

This was the perfect airbnb for a relaxing weekend getaway! The apartment was beautiful with lots of natural light throughout, and a balcony overlooking the lake. Lesley and Ian were friendly and thoughtful hosts - we were greeted upon arrival and we especially appreciated the late checkout offered to us, which allowed us some extra time to enjoy the beautiful view by the dock. We hope to be back!

Loved my stay here! The place is modern, super clean, and feels very new. Big windows with a beautiful lake view—such a great way to start the day. Kitchen was fully stocked, and I loved having smart TVs in both the bedroom and living room. It’s only a 15-20 min drive to downtown, and check-in was super smooth with the code sent ahead of time. Would definitely come back!

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen. Einfach großartig! Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, hell und gut ausgestattet. Der Blick auf den See ist ein Highlight. Ich würde immer wieder hier herkommen. Meine Naturbeobachtung am See werde ich sehr vermissen.

I can’t say enough other than I felt like we went to our families house for the weekend. Her and her husband made us feel right at home. She had homemade brownies waiting for us and greeted us when we arrived. There was nothing missed in the way they have this set up. The most above and beyond experience with a beautiful breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

Such an awesome stay! The cottage was super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The lakefront views were even better in person — we spent so much time just hanging out on the deck and by the water. It was the perfect spot to relax and unplug. The hosts were super friendly and made everything really easy. Honestly didn’t want to leave. Definitely coming back!

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

My family couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. As far as bang for your buck goes you can’t do better. Andrew and Hali were exceptional hosts, very responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. Everything was very clean, bedrooms and furniture throughout were very comfortable. My boys would absolutely love to come back, and we’d highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a seamless experience on a beautiful lake. Thank you for such a great experience!

We had the best summer before school starts , thanks to Henry’s cottage! There lots to do, campfire, kayak, boating etc. We love the jetty by the lake and we have coffee there every morning!!! The backyard is so spacious it has the playground that kids have plenty of stuff to do! The place is very quiet at night! We also love the bedrooms and it has no problems accomodating our family plus two more. We have a good experience here and Henry is very responsive on our concerns and questions! We will definitely come back !! Thanks!!!

This property was a piece of heaven in Muskoka! It more than comfortably accommodated and entertained two families with 4 children! Having accessibility on site to a private beach and water activities was excellent! The water was nice and warm, but we did not expect as much vegetation in it. Our relatives from Rome called this location “a dream!” Everyone enjoyed this memorable stay that included the best sunset views in Muskoka! Thank you to Jessica and Ryan for allowing our family to rent your beautiful cottage!

This iscour seconded time at Reay's cottage and we absolutely loved it. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and unbeatable views of the lake. The cottage has everything you need, it's comfortable and super clean. Definitely recommend.
