Hiking, cycling and running trials, are abundant. Five minutes to the golf course. Please note the kitchenette: microwave, bar fridge, bar sink, kettle, French press, dishes, and cutlery. *There is a short gravel path to the suite that may be difficult for folks with mobility issues. There is some development going on in the area.

From this bright, cozy cottage with vaulted ceilings you will see and hear the ocean, watch the eagles soar overhead and see seals, otters and herons. Take a stroll for a coffee at one of the shops in Davis Bay, a 2-min. walk. Enjoy the stunning sunsets at night. We are on the Sunshine Coast Highway, with easy access to amenities. Sechelt is only 4 min. drive.

The suite is new and has everything you need for a wonderful stay, including in-floor heating. Directly across the road is a trail down to beautiful Hopkins Landing beach merely a 5 minute walk. Located 2 minutes drive from the ferry and a 5 minute drive to the lovely seaside town of Gibsons , where restaurants, craft breweries and little shops will delight.

Maple Sunshine Oceanfront Upper Cottage

Top floor of cottage on the ocean with view across the straits to Nanaimo/Vancouver Island. Short ferry ride from the mainland. Located on the Sunshine Coast with incredible natural attractions and scenery. Ocean access directly in front of cottage. Skookumchuk Rapids is about 1 hour away. Gourmet dinning is just a 1. 2 kilometers walk away along the Ocean Beach Esplanade. Lots of kite and wind surfers, boats and barges pass in front of the house. Picnic on the beach and the sandbar out front.

Bench 170

Not suitable for children or infants. Lots of concrete and sharp corners. Enjoy the entire upper floor of this unique West Coast Modern home, built in 2012, with use of water side lawn. A delight for architecture enthusiasts, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for 7 years. Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.
