Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Crowfoot's Cottage is situated on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, in the beautiful Waveney Valley. Lying in grounds of seven acres including a lake and woodland, it is a haven for wildlife and an ideal base for a relaxing holiday. The oldest parts of Crowfoot's cottage date from the 17th century and have been lovingly renovated. Within a short walk of the cottage are a village shop pub and Broome Heath which is ideal for dog walking/fishing. More shops and restaurants in Bungay just a mile away

Our Cosy cottage is located between the lovely market towns of Beccles Bungay & Halesworth. Quiet village with its historic church is Ideally situated and only 20 mins from the Suffolk coast, Norwich,Norfolk Broads and all the local attractions such as Lattitude, Snape Maltings, Aldburgh Carnival. We are 10 mins from St Peters Brewery also The raw milk shed is 10 mins away where Baron Bigod cheese is made, 2 mins on is The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation museum. Sizewell is 20 miles from us.

You and your dog/s can enjoy a private enclosed meadow to sit and watch the wildlife fly over head. Our annex is complete with spacious double bedroom, shower room, lounge & kitchenette. The Annex is located next to the Norfolk & Suffolk Avaition Museum and The Flixton Buck Inn (check online for openings). Flixton is a small rural village, 5 minutes to the historic town of Bungay, 20 minutes to the Norfolk Broads, 30 minutes to Southwold. 20 minutes to Norwich, 40 minutes to Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich. Our central location is perfect for holidaying in Norfolk or Suffolk.
