The cottage was the place where all Kimmel producers and Guillermo enjoyed their time off after the filming in Dildo. Carmel's Place is bursting with colour and charm, located in Portugal Cove South, NL; the gateway to Mistaken Point UNESCO World Heritage Site & Cape Race.Enjoy hiking,whale watching, beachcombing or just relaxing in your own private garden. The ocean which you can view from the garden is just a 3 minute walk. A gas bbq is provided and a firepit.The house was built by the owner's father; a local fisherman.The cheerful décor will lift your spirit.

The Murphy Cottage

The Murphy Cottage was built in the 1970s and has been a place to gather in Brigus South for decades. This restored, quaint cabin nestled amongst the trees and directly on the water is perfect whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two, planning a friends weekend, or taking the family on a road trip. The Murphy Cottage has everything you need for a rural escape and is only 55 minutes from St. John's. Up for some adventure? The East Coast Trail network is a short 2 minute drive away.

A cozy ocean side cottage, about an hour outside of St John's NL, you find this little piece of paradise where you can relax and enjoy amazing ocean views. In season you can see whales right from back deck, Minke and Humpbacks. When the Caplin are rolling you can see them all along the beach and the trails beaches. Or maybe just relax and listen to the sound of the ocean waves breaking on the beach. Just a short walk along the beach and you are at the start of the Chance Cove coastal trail.
