Markos was a really excellent host! Went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even ordered a child’s bike seat and helmet before our arrival so we could use it for our son on their e bikes! The apartment was even better than the pictures, so clean, had everything we needed for our week stay and very comfy big bed! The location of the apartment was ideal for us we were able to take a 15/20 minute walk into the main town and could also walk to two nearby beaches. Would definitely stay at this apartment again!

Such a beautiful place. The apartment was fabulous but the little cove was out of this world. It was like bein on our own dessert island. The weather wasn't kind to us but we were looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were sorry to move on.

The apartament was everything we expected and more. Spotless clean, airy and beautifully furnished, very nice turquoise crockery. The parking area is big enough for 2 minivans if necessary. We arrived very late in the evening, nearly midnight, but Alexandros was waiting for us. He is the most welcoming and warm host one can imagine, extremely easy to communicate with. We found on the table a very tasty kefalonian dinner and a bottle of wine, for which we were deeply grateful, since we were completely exhausted. Our only regret was that we didn't plan to stay longer in Kefalonia, but we know now what to plan in the future. Many thanks to Alexandros for his great advices about the island. A great apartament, a wonderful host, I would recommend to anyone visiting Kefalonia!!

Logement très agréable, spacieux et bien situé pour visiter Poros et ses environs. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement. La région propose des côtes tres belles, avec des plages et des criques toutes plus belles les unes que les autres. Excellent séjour.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with 10 people in the villa to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Great communication and wonderful accommodation. Highly recommend!

Nico and Elena were the kindest and most helpful hosts you could ask for. Living above the rental property they were always respectful of our privacy yet were immediately responsive if we needed help with anything. The apartment is in the most ideal position in beautiful Sami, close to all restaurants and shops yet very quiet and peaceful. Our 2 weeks were delightful and guided day trips out were easily available thru the travel agent nearby. Thus no need to hire a car and ferry port to Ithaca just yards down the road. The combined kitchen/living area is small but spacious bedroom and bathroom. The outdoor sitting area is shaded with grape vines. Nico and Elena are very special hosts!

Everything about Cottage by the Sea is special, from Kia (the owner) to the location, the surroundings, the house, neighbours - EVERYTHING! The house is perfect. Beautifully decorated, lacking nothing. The aircons were a saving grace! The beach is on your doorstep. And Atheras beach is simply stunning, hugged between two hills and the landmark rocky island in the middle of the entrance to the bay. We had 4 blissful weeks in Kia's house as a family of 5. The sea, sun and peace did wonders for our wellbeing. Really enjoyed the lemons and grapes from the garden. Oh, and the goats! Ethos, Pathos and Logos visited almost everyday (destroying Kia's beautiful Delicious Monsters, no less) but they were a special feature and lingers in our memories. A special mention to Makis, who took us out on his fishing boat for a day to other beaches close by. Kia is a warm, efficient host, non-intrusive and yet anticipating every need of her guests. Highly recommend!! We'll come again.
