It was such a pleasure staying in this cozy and stylishly decorated apartment for a few weeks. The place is spacious and well-eqipped with everything you might need. Shreshth and his parents were lovely hosts, very responsive if i ever needed anything. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with lovely views of the mountain from the balcony, though a little far from restaurants and services (about 15-20 minutes' walk to restaurants and 25 minutes if you need laundry done). Having said that, getting food delivered through Zomato was easy enough. Overall, I highly recommend.

It has been one of the best stays in which we stayed. Every is so so amazing. It is closed to the landing site. All the cafes and restaurants are nearby. The host is very responsive and communicates well. The house is so beautifully built. The interiors are unique and very chic. They have a beautiful common area which is the best hangout place in the entire home to chill out with your group. Me and family had great fun playing ludo which was available at the house. They also have a good collection of book which you can enjoy reading. I clicked beautiful pictures in different corners of the house. The vibe of the house is great. Beautiful energy.

We loved our stay in Karuna retreat for 5 days. The place has warm and cozy vibes. The kids loved the media room in the attic. It was a different experience for them. Since we were traveling by our own vehicle, we enjoyed the best of both worlds, the calm and peaceful neighbourhood of Rakkad and the hustle and bustle of Mcleod ganj. Traveling to the Main Square of Mcleodganj took 30 mins. Karuna Retreat is very close to Norbulingka Institute which was a great place to sit and just enjoy some peaceful moments. Star and constellations gazing was our favourite thing to do on the terrace of our beautiful homestay. There were nice home run cafes nearby. A grocery shop was just round the corner. We loved the location. Our host Tenzin was an easy and proactive person to talk to, though we never needed anything as everything was just fine. We loved the collection of books there too. We really hope to come back soon and stay for a longer period of time.

I can’t believe that this place was so much more than you can see on Airbnb. Words and pictures can’t describe the beauty and serenity of this home. Taking a shower in the first floor bathroom was like being in a warm spa. That shower is basically a sun room and my husband and I couldn’t have been in more love with it. The host is the nicest person and is so open to sharing numbers and info for local restaurants and activities. The nursery next to the home is filled with plants and succulents that you won’t find at that roadside stand near your house so definitely take back a few plants if you can. This house is a whimsical fairytale so definitely set aside some time from your trip to enjoy this property as well.

Very nice guest house in a quiet place with nice views or the valley. Great to stay a little away from the hustle and traffic of Bir. The hosts, Navdeep and his wife are very friendly, caring people. We enjoyed their company and conversation. They both are good cooks of Indian food. The closest restaurant is about a 15 minute walk, downtown about 20 minutes. We enjoyed the local countryside and neighbors.

We have stayed with Amrita earlier on a different listing but i must say She has not only retained the hosting quality but also improved. Yet another incredible stay at this vintage property in Bir Billing with Stay Now Now. The weather was perfect along with the bonfire & barbeque evening arranged by Amrita, was just epic. The only thing that was different this time was that i went with my entire family and everyone was very happy with the stay.

The place was very clean and neat. Everything looked just like the photos. The room was tidy, the bed was cozy, and the bathroom was spotless. I felt right at home. Sachin was a kind and helpful host. He replied quickly to messages and made sure I had everything I needed. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and peaceful place to stay!
