Relax after a day at the dunes in this quiet home at the edge of town. It's a 3-1/2 mile drive to the dunes. With a permit from the city, you can drive your ATV right to the park! This two-bedroom, one-bath home has excellent central air and heat and ceiling fans. One bedroom offers a queen bed and the second has two twin beds. The sofa opens into a queen-size bed. We added a new stackable washer and dryer—perfect for small loads. Plenty of parking in the back for your truck, trailer, and ATV.

Cherokee is a small town with two restaurants, a subway, and quick stop. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and a quiet town close to the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge which provides birding, and beautiful views. There are many other interesting sites within a short drive; the perfect getaway.

The Fully loaded kitchen can provide a place to make meals and plenty of communal spaces to gather and make memories. There is great parking, you can fit 4 cars in back drive 3 in the alley and the house sits on a 1/2 acre corner lot so you can park your trailers for the dunes. Tv's we got 3! Pecan Cabin

The Pecan Cabin is in the middle of a pecan orchard. It is built out of pecan wood. There is much wildlife around the cabin. We often see deer, wild turkeys, armadillo, squirrels, hawks, racoon, and coyote. It is very quiet and peaceful. A great place for star gazing. This is a working pecan orchard. You may see us, mowing, pruning and generally taking care of the trees. There is no hunting on this property. The land is leased for hunting, but they do not hunt in the pecan grove.

With one queen bed in each bedroom, you can sleep 8 comfortably. Curl up on the sectional couch and watch your favorite shows on Netflix and Hulu if you need a break from the dunes. There are numerous activities for free at the Great Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. Bird watching, horseback riding/hiking/bicycle trails, fishing, salt crystal digging, walking and automotive nature trails to name a few.

Made for hunters and families, by a hunting family! Our family has hunted the Wakita area for 12 years and we have fallin in love with this place. We bought this house for a hunting getaway but, we live in Grove Ok on Grand Lake. We want to share our house with visitors and hunters that need a great place to stay while in the area.
