We are a family of 4 with 2 kids 3 and under and a dog. We had a great stay! The place is as described and more. Very well stocked with all the essentials for kitchen and otherwise. Lots of space. Clean. Heating and cooling. Thoughtfully decorated. Lots of yard space. Beautiful view of the local mountains. Scott gave us a tour of their farm and our little guy fed the ducks - fun! Right next to Little Qualicum Cheeseworks - fresh dairy awaits. Location is good - farm setting but close to town. Overall great value and would stay again!

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

Angel House was a grand choice for holiday. A hot spot for a mini reunion with family I hadn’t seen in donkey years. Diana and Paul greeted us warmly and were available throughout our stay. At €750 per night and a €21 cash fee per guest, it accommodated up to 12 guests in 7 beds. Listed as “Entire Home” was attached to Diana’s living quarters but it did not detract the experience. Charming décor, window coverings invited early morning light and hotel-quality pillows needed after a long drive. The provided salt and pepper were a nice touch. Nomads will know to bring their own essentials but I prefer not to ask hosts for things during my stay. Despite a few minor issues—no ice on arrival, low ceiling in upstairs bathroom—house provided ample space otherwise with reliable Wi-Fi and a dishwasher! Location was close to Maffeo Sutton & Colliery Dam Park, a short drive to Duke Point Ferry Terminal and bistros around for lunch. Casa Angel de Nanaimo is a value for a memorable reunion!

Can't say enough good things about my stay here, everything was exactly what I needed, I just wish I had more time to check out everything that the area had to offer. Fantastic, responsive hosts, I would not hesitate to stay again when in the area.

Clean, cozy accommodation. Incredibly clean air (we came from Edmonton). Quiet area, minimal traffic. The hosts are friendly and kind, we almost never crossed paths with them. We had one short conversation when Oleksandr asked how we liked the conditions and if we had any questions or complaints. We are very grateful to the hosts for the welcome. We loved our stay here and would be happy to return! Very close to stores and restaurants while still feeling far enough away to be peaceful. The space was perfect for our family of 3 and we were able to have a quaint lunch playdate with our friend's and their kiddo and have my son's grandma come visit. Our host was very responsive and helpful every step of the way and we loved the included amenities and cozy place to call home for the week.

Anthony was very communicative and friendly. House was clean and very centrally located. Stay was lovely, would recommend for anyone who wants to explore Victoria and is looking or a great location .

Billie’s place was the perfect spot for a trip to Salt Spring Island. Really appreciated the welcome, orientation of the suite and local recommendations. I’d love to stay again and will definitely recommend!

The Treehouse Cabin was an excellent space for our group of ten!! Patrycja and Adrian were fabulous hosts. Accommodating to our few requests and quick to reply to any questions we had. The property is a bit of a ride from downtown Victoria, but by being so it allows some peace and privacy from the crowds and traffic. There was so much we could do without even having to leave the property. Air hockey, pool, hot tub, and darts, just to name a few! The home was well stocked with serveware, basic kitchen items, cleaning supplies, some bathroom supplies, and more. If I could do it again, the only thing I would change is planning trips into downtown Victoria a bit better to reduce driving and maybe allowing some more time to enjoy what the home offers!

This is a great spot for inter-generational families because the layout of living areas and bedrooms allows everyone to to be separate or together as they choose. We loved the quirkiness combined with the lovely modern bathrooms. And the property surrounding the house is so much fun to explore. It is a great family house and all the kids loved the pool and water slide. We have already decided to come back next year.

We had a great stay at Bill’s! It’s a basement suite but because it’s a walk out it’s super sunny and bright. We pretty much never heard any noise from upstairs. The internet speed is fantastic if, like us, you work remotely (1gbps up and down at the time of this review). We had our dog with us and Indy had a great time playing in the yarn with Bill’s dog Oli. Bill is such a nice guy and we had really nice chats whenever we’d run into one another. The house and suite are also brand new and in a beautiful part of Nanaimo — we would highly recommend staying here!

This is the third time that we’ve been back to the condos and I’m sure we’ll keep visiting in the future. Besides just how amazing the property and surroundings are, our condo came exactly as advertised. Perfect place for my family and dogs to spend a week. The condo was perfectly clean and we had everything that we needed. Definitely recommended!

Super convenient and comfortable. Enjoyed gas fireplace, pool table and comfortable beds. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Such a beautiful place to stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and very responsive to any questions we had. The neighbourhood is private and quiet, and the suite was even more beautiful than the pictures. The view from the living room is so beautiful, the kitchen is spacious and has any dishes or utensils you could ever think of. The beds were clean and comfortable, ample towels for showers, hot tub, and pool days! A fantastic place to stay, especially if you’re planning on a larger group vacation. We would definitely come back here again in the future, can’t say enough great things.

What a beautiful place. I didn't want to leave. Everything was perfect from the outside to the inside. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to book here. I will definitely be back.

perfect location for us, as we had a show at UVic to go to. park right there, groceries/restaurant/liquor store sooo close. place was super clean!

Jenas place was perfect for us. We had a great few days despite the rain! Jena has thought of everything you need to make this home from home with lots of useful extra items!

This was a wonderful space to unwind and enjoy the beauty of salt spring island. Lisa and Gary were excellent hosts and helpful with recommendations and assistance as needed. We enjoyed the patio, hot tub, grill, and view throughout the stay. The frogs lulled us to sleep and birds woke us up daily. It is a place we hope to return to for sure.

Wendy's place was so quiet and peaceful, we absolutely loved staying here! We had everything we needed and the space was really well set up. It was a perfect spot to stay! Wendy's property is wonderful and we enjoyed getting to see her friendly dog, the horse and goats! Wendy was really helpful with great local recommendations, there's much more for us to come back and do on a future trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tim and Emi's. The suite was comfortable, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was in a good location for our visit to Butchart Gardens and hiking trails. We would highly recommended staying here.

Michelle's place was perfect for a couples getaway, and some lovely hiking. The suite is private with a fully fenced yard that was perfect for our dog. It is only about a block from the TransCanada Trail, and the neighbourhood is cute and walkable. The suite was spotless, and included many thoughtful touches and amenities. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking nice dinners. Good value for a lovely weekend away!
