Sitting on our 200 acre estate this authentic barn offers our guests a chance to relax in the beautiful rolling hills of Vermont. Access the vast majority of our historic Stowe area land -- from our apple orchards to our extensive walking paths in fields and woodland. We hope that you can experience such fun and quiet time in our cozy, western-style bunk room. Located only a 10 minute drive from downtown Stowe.

Walk down to the lake for a swim, canoe ride to loons, enjoy the views from the oversized deck, make s’mores at the campfire, or soak in the hot tub on the covered porch. Take a break at this peaceful, private getaway. We are located on a quiet road just a mile from our small-town square. Only three quarters of an hour from three ski resorts, Jay Peak, Burke Mtn and Smugglers Notch, we’re the perfect place to stay for your skication. There’s also plenty of hiking and beautiful lakes (Memphremagog, Crystal and Willoughby) to explore close by. Craftsbury Outdoor Ctr, Creek Hill Barn and, snowmobile trails are nearby. Welcome to this beautifully crafted post & beam guest house in East Craftsbury. Lovely forest views, a running stream out back. Although 1 small dog is generally fine, please read further about the pet policy. Check in 3pm. Check out 11am and please park in designated spot. We have lived on our homestead at the end of a dirt road in Northern Vermont for 50 years. Here we grow and raise +/-90% of our own food. We have beautiful gardens, a 200 acre woods (with trails) and many farm animals for you to visit. It is peaceful and quiet here. The cottage is next door to our house and workshop but you will have plenty of privacy.
