The property was very clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. Lovely and warm, it helped coming back after a day's hiking. Also, the parking was easy to use, but further car parking available in a couple of local car parks. We couldn't fault the property in any way, would definitely stay there again if visiting the area. Thanks to Claire and the team for making this a memorable stay.

This was a beautiful place to stay. We instantly felt at home when we walked through the front door. The place has everything you need and feels spacious. There is plenty of storage for clothes and hangers which is lovely. Emma is so helpful. I asked a few questions before my stay and she was so helpful and quick to get back to me. Emma is very honest on the listing about the road traffic noise which we found very helpful. We knew what to expect. It might be helpful to know that the traffic is a mixture of cars and HGVs and that it does continue in the night although with less frequency. But it doesn’t detract from what is a beautiful home and a very peaceful stay!!

What a wonderful stay we had, from booking to arrival, departure and aftercare the hosts were amazing. The house was lovely, clean, spacious and a fab location for us and great local food establishments nearby. Nothing was too much trouble. We travelled a long way and were delayed a few times but the hosts were flexible and patient on waiting for us. I also left a couple of items in the house and they very kindly posted them back to me. I can't recommend this place and the hosts enough. I will definitely book with them again. Thank you!!

Amazing place, great location near some lovely walks and pubs. Hot tub was brilliant and kids managed to swim in river !

first time using air b&b and a great experience. sarah provided instructions on how to find the property which had great detail (and photos) to make it a simple and stress-free start to our break away. cottage was exactly as pictured online. clean, tidy and beautifully presented throughout. we loved how the property was cute, cosy and tucked away down cobbled streets, but was ideally located within walking distance of everything Leek has to offer. a great base for a relaxing weekend. thank you again, Sarah 🙂

A perfect place for our family get together & to use a quote from our son ‘What a find!’ From booking to departure we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our host Penny was wonderful - great communication throughout, rapid responses to any messages, really flexible on check in/out times to help with having a young child with us. On arrival Penny met & showed us round personally. She was so warm & friendly we felt immediately at home. There were lovely thoughtful touches such a home baked cake, scones & croissants. Highfield House is absolutely lovely, set in gorgeous gardens & woodland. We were able to use the whole garden which included a play area perfect for our granddaughter. Beautifully furnished & with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Fixtures, fittings, linens & towels were great quality. The drawing room was particularly lovely. Penny organised a hot tub for us & this was a real plus. A fantastic, relaxing few days. Thanks for everything Penny!

Emma is a great host she dealt with an issue early on extremely quickly and professionally, the cottage is a wonderful place to chill and relax with breathtaking views which all of the family enjoyed to look at, my daughter coming home said she wants to come back again which I’m sure we will!

Place was exactly as advertised. Easy access and host communication great. Right on a bus stop or walkable to town centre. All in all great stay

We had a great stay in Castleton at Marianne’s air bnb. The cottage had everything we could possibly need and was decorated beautifully. Very convenient for getting to lots of local walk as well as for travelling to other areas of the Peak District. Marieanne was a great host and we would certainly visit again. The bed and furnishings were very comfortable and homely. The only minor issue I had is the cottage is on the main road which could be a bit noisy, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend taking ear plugs.

I had an absolute incredible experience at Denise’s place, from the moment I arrived, everything was spotless, stylish and thoughtfully prepared. Check-in was easy. The space itself was better than the photos- beautifully decorated and cozy. The bed was super comfy and I appreciated all the little touches that made it feel homely. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and would certainly return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this little gem for anyone visiting the area.

Stayed at Helen’s place for two nights & was excellent. We have stayed here before & it was as good this time as it was before. Beautiful soft furnishings & very clean. It’s situated in a lovely peaceful location yet very convenient to towns & villages. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place and will definitely stay again

We had a lovely long weekend based in Longnor. A comfortable, warm and surprisingly spacious apartment. Great location. We walked the spectacular 'dragons back' route from our front door. Longnor is a central, pretty, and very peaceful village. Sad to see the village pubs and cafe all shut down. The nearest pub was the Packhorse Inn, a 20 min walk which was nice. A fantastic place, great host - highly recommend for a quiet break exploring the Peaks.

We had a lovely stay and Sally was a great host. The apartment was clean and tidy with clear instructions. The location is great and we could have happily stayed longer. We plan to book again!

Charlotte was a fantastic host! She greeted us as soon as we arrived, and everything was perfectly prepared for our stay in this lovely place. We had a private space with a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. During the day, we worked from the apartment, and in the evenings, we enjoyed walks. There are plenty of beautiful natural spots just a 20–30 minute drive from the town.
