When I found this little mobile home community on Miflin Creek, I knew I'd found something special- a peaceful place to kayak,bird watch,fish, and enjoy the beauty of the creek. Today, I'm grateful to share it with my guests. Miflin Creek flows into Wolf Bay and the Gulf, yet you're only 8 minutes from OWA, close to great restaurants, and a short drive to Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. The Flip Flop Beach Retreat is a lovely cottage by the sea located in the heart of Dauphin Island! Enjoy your own private beach and beautiful views of the Mississippi Sound. Three bedrooms, loft and fantastic covered porch lends itself to complete relaxation. Fully equipped kitchen makes eating-in a joy. This house has covered parking for 4 vehicles. This home sits on 2 acres with hundreds of feet of water frontage. The home is updated with all modern features to to give you comfort but styled in a way that you feel unplugged. The property sits on a canal that is connected to fowl river, Mobile Bay and the Mississippi Sound. There is kayaks and a canoe on the property for you to explore the water ways or do some fishing. Rinse off in the outdoor shower & enjoy the heated pool. FYI: pool heating costs extra: $50 per day (for 8 hours of heating - you pick the hours). You're welcome to use the Green Egg grill. We rent kayaks, a paddle board & a jet ski too.
