This place covers all the bases for a great stay for a big family get together! Excellent communications, nice welcome and then all the things to keep three families from ages 3-16 entertained. Private pool great, Games Room great, Hot Tub was spot on and actually hot (unlike so many that aren't)! Sauna probably needs some renovation love. Bedrooms great, enough space. Devonshire Arms nice food, Halfway House nice beer and vibes. All the ingredients for a place to kick back and have some much needed family time. Highly recommend!

Whilst we didn't get to see Mark, we had a lot of communication with him. He was very accommodating and friendly and the property itself was beautiful. It was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The views were gorgeous and it was perfect for our families requirements with plenty of parking and great flexible accommodation. We hope to return again now that we know that the place is suitable for 3 generations of our family. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

My friends and I had a fantastic time at Lisa and Tim’s place! Beautiful private surroundings and gorgeous, modern, clean Airbnb! They let us check out late which was very kind and were very helpful with any questions we had! They also left a lovely welcome pack including gluten free goodies as one of our party is coeliac! Would highly recommend!

booked Dave & Emma's place for my husbands 60th birthday weekend. there was 12 of us, all family with 3 children amongst the group with the youngest being 4 years old. the accommodation had everything you could wish for with the kids and adults alike all making use of the games room, bikes and kayakes. the park and beach were literally opposite the house, so was a great location and the weather was brilliant. we also made use of the hot tub, which was very popular.

I’ve just returned from a stay here with my family, and we had a wonderful time. There were 12 of us including 3 kids aged 7yrs and under, and 2 dogs! So I was glad there was plenty of space. The house is beautiful and set in quiet surroundings. The games kept the kids entertained and they loved the Moors Valley country Park that was only 5 mins drive away. I would definitely recommend. The house is even nicer than in the photos.

Super chilled weekend away. A wonderful, peaceful place to stay, with a little private wooded walk onto the common and a nice pub 30 minute walk away. The annexe is cosy and well equipped for a relaxing break, with the hot tub, log burner and all the little things you might have forgotten - also a super comfy bed for yummy lie-ins! Lesley, Peter (and the animals) are really friendly and welcoming. This is our 2nd visit and we will hopefully stay again. Thank you! x

We chose a long weekend the week before Easter. The house and the location matched our expectations and needs. Allan’s meet and greet on arrival was a warm welcome and informative. Brook House is a lovely home and we had a great stay. The spacious kitchen, bedrooms downstairs, wood burner and hot tub are real highlights. We enjoyed a BBQ and a Sunday Roast during our stay. The outdoor patio lights work very well to enjoy the garden in the evenings. The house is wonderfully located to explore the south coast and nearby attractions. We enjoyed a walk to the local club for drinks and live music. (Only available Fridays) on the first evening. We did a day trip to Brownsea Island which was fun. Moors Valley Country Park and Forest nearby offers a lot of options for a family Sunday outing. Our only fault was not staying a few more days!

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. Had a fabulous Easter break here, beautiful view of fields and countryside. Welcomed by the hosts, very kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend to a friend as a great place to stay.

Olivia’s house is lovely - plenty of space for everyone and great amenities (games room, TVs, speakers, hot tube etc.). Olivia lives in the house next door and was wonderful, always checking that everything was okay and helping when our fob broke. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

WOW!! - Foxgloves Retreat is a truly magical place. As a family of 3, we have just returned from an Easter break and it was simply unbeatable. We were so well looked after from the minute we booked and arrived. Stella and Trevor were incredibly friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained and cosy too. Views over the parkland were really special - the colours, the local community enjoying themselves, lots of very happy waggly tails and birdsong. The garden is magnificent - the well manicured plants, colours and wildlife were captivating. Loved the escapism it offered, so private and extensive - great for exploring & hide and seek! The hot tub is huge, the views out were mesmerising and the sauna was a real treat after a busy day spent walking the beautiful and easily accessible coast path. Cannot wait to return in August. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

A perfect place for our family get together. The 2 year old was delighted with toys to play with. The 20 somethings and 30 somethings loved the pool table and the hot tub. The oldies liked the peaceful surroundings and the views. The dogs loved the garden. We all loved the beautiful house, comfortable accommodation and the warmth from the AGA in the kitchen. And a bit of mystery and a secret.....all I will say is Smugglers' Top

Comfort Hill was the perfect spot to celebrate my 35th birthday with my family of 8 - including a baby, an infant, and a dog! The villa has chill vibes, plenty of space, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Ideal for a big family getaway.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

Great stay in a beautiful location with many amenities included in the room. Peaceful and basic, but everything you would need. We would only recommend something to deter the Wasps as the room is located near to the Oak tree but this would be the only minor thing!

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. It's like nowhere we've stayed before and it's certainly set the bar. The decor and ambience is unmatched. Relaxing in the rocking chairs and hammock felt like something from a movie! Not to mention the tree deck, hot tub and lovely Sheppy's cider 🍻 - perfection x

Had the most amazing weekend, cabin was delightful and very cosy, Hot Tub was great. Great walks as practically on top of the Ridgeway. Richard was a great host, I would highly recommend to stay, great getaway for piece, relaxation, with great walks & beautiful scenery. Thanks Rich for a great stay 🙂

We stayed a few days for our honeymoon. Our arrival was a bit chaotic as the host was there trying to fit a bbq but they left swiftly enough and we were free to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect, so great to be fully immersed in nature especially with a hot tub too. We really enjoyed being woken by the sunrise each day. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. I would say that the cabin could do with a few personal touches like blankets, washing powder, basic supplies in the fridge upon arrival considering the price range I thought it was unusual for these not to be included. Overall we had such an incredibly special stay and will be back soon. Thanks to the hosts ☺️

We loved it so much this was our second visit! Gorgeous cabin, feels really secluded when there, you wouldn’t know you were in Reading. Lots to keep you entertained without even leaving. Massive hot tub was such a treat too. No doubt will be back again.
