Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hut. Fiona was a really great host who came out to us even though it was late and raining! The hut was super warm on arrival and it has an internal heater and towel rail which is nice. It was also nice to be welcomed with some baked goods which we enjoyed the next morning. The bed was super comfy and we slept really well. The hot tub was nice to relax in… you get all the stuff provided for it which is good and on previous experiences this isn’t always the case. We used the Fire pit and you get some cushions to use which are under the bed and extra blankets which again is really nice. It’s exceptionally well thought out and the lord of added extras make it really nice. Would deffo return

We had a wonderful family stay at Paul's AirBnB. The home is perfect for a family or friends trip. Great rooms, huge open plan kitchen/ living area and a larder for storage with washing machine/ dish washer. We honestly would give more than 5 stars if we could. If you're looking for a beautiful home, amazing views and great walks (or short drives) to local landmarks (or pubs!) then look no further. Our toddler (20 months) had a great time in the gated garden or using the New Forest as his play area, and was beside himself when the horses would walk right past the house. Paul was on hand to answer any questions we had, an excellent host! We'd absolutely stay again!

My partner and I had a gorgeous stay at the shepherds hut - it’s super cosy and in a beautiful spot! The hot tub was so lovely with wonderful views and the hosts have still managed to keep the area private. It was also wonderful to see all the lambs and ducks come to visit us each day! Tracy and James were fab hosts and we would definitely come back in the future!

The 2 ladies that greeted us upon check in were friendly and helpful. the campsite is clean, peaceful, tranquil. plenty of toilet/shower blocks which were clean, modern and accessible whenever my family needed. all guests very friendly. as for the shepherds hut, it was warmer then expected with plenty of room and storage under the main double bed. mattress very comfortable and 2 single beds which could fit up to 5ft 2 child on comfortably. if your on a budget i would recommend arranging food (there is 2 electric hob perfect for pasta) as a family of 4 we walked to nearest pub restaurant st peters finger, was nice but pricey and limited menu. highly reccommended for short stay (1/2 nights) with local links for things to do

Had a solo stay- lovely hut with small kitchen and fridge. Some thoughtful touches like cold water and juice left on a boiling hot day for me. Very beautiful garden, I enjoyed the nearby sunset and sat out with the wood burner looking at the stars. Magical.

We booked a couple of days for my mums birthday. Tracys communication was brilliant throughout and we arrived to a birthday banner and balloons in the hut. This place is so lovely we will def be returning, the goats are so friendly and were a real highlight, not to mention the ducks running past throughout the day. This is a peaceful getaway, in beautiful surroundings. I cannot fault Tracy at all she is a really lovely lady and on hand should you need anything. The hut was very comfortable and warm with beautiful views to wake up to, including goats at my window! Which I loved!! Overall a wonderful relaxing couple of days and we will def be returning. This was the second time we stayed at the glorious little Acorn Hut. Again we were very warmly welcomed by the family and we had a perfect stay! We will go back again!

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

We had a great stay. Claire is a great host and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. The accommodation and hot tub were great, and the surrounding area is full of walks and great views. We particularly loved hearing about the farm and getting to meet the animals. A really unique getaway and would recommend to anyone.

100% recommend staying here. The pictures are exactly what it’s like in person and more! The attention to detail was amazing, everything you need for your stay is there. They even had hot chocolate and marshmallows for a cosy night around the fire-pit. Communication with the host was very formative, clear and in timely manner. We would definitely return as it is the perfect relaxing getaway but also walks/restaurants close. Thankyou so much!

I stayed at Jayne’s Blue Shepherd’s hut for two days and two nights, and it was phenomenal. The location is situated in green and exquisite Dorset county, surrounded by idyllic farmland and the songs and aroma of nature. The hut is the ideal cosy grotto to hide away from the world, but with all the world's amenities, having the internet and TV was perfect for a movie to see us off in bed. The hut aesthetic was a blend of rustic and rural industrial, with warm smoothing blues, raw wood and soft orange lighting creating the most smoothing and cosiest of settings. The outside area of the hut was everything you could ask for. Spacious decking, fire pit/bbq and the star of the show, the hot tub! My girlfriend and I spent our evenings basking in the warmth of the hot tub while surrounded by fairy lights and the night sky! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Furthermore, Jayne, the host, is lovely, friendly, and accommodating! She is very responsive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

we had a amazing 2 night stay at Sally's shepards hut over the bankholiday. Sally is a great host and gave lots of good information on the surrounding areas for activities to do. The garden and hut were kept great and overall it was a really pleasant stay. 5 stars 🌟

Myself, my husband and our pup stayed in Sharon and Johns beautiful Shepard’s hut for 2 nights. It was equipped with everything you need, the space was cosy and comfortable and very clean. The outside area was beautiful and close to the forest and the beach. Thank you Sharon and John for your warm welcome and your helpful recommendations on the local area. We booked this hut at short notice and Chris was extremely quick to reply and allowed us both to stay despite being advertised as a one guest booking. We received a warm welcome from Chris and lots of information about the hut. The location was perfect, close to everything, walks and the town. Plenty of places to choose from to eat and drink. The hut was basic ( not a surprise as the description told us that) and was very clean and tidy. Lovely garden to sit in and enjoy the evening sunshine. A lovely one night stay. Thank you.

We had a lovely one night stay in one of Jackie’s cabins after visiting family. Jackie was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived, walked us through everything was. We had milk and some chocolates waiting in the fridge, which was a great touch! Everything was perfectly clean and our stay was very peaceful. We stayed with our dog and the enclosed area allowed him to roam a bit, too. 100% recommend. Millie, Ieuan & Doogs

We had the most wonderful time at Danette’s shepherds hut. The views, wildlife and peace were incredible and the location was great for trips out with the dogs. We loved the attention to details in the hut, it made the experience very homely. Danette’s communication with us was great, she kept us up to date from start to finish. I am already looking forward to returning on our next trip!

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday. Very cosy cabin with all the essentials. Really well located for day trips by car or by bike. A short walk to the Silver Hinde and Hare and Hounds in the village which were both great for dinner. Even though the cabin is on the farm it is tucked away with privacy. Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful and was in touch to see whether we needed more firewood for the hot tub or fire pit and offered to light the hot tub for us if we were out and about. Overall a great stay

A lovely time was had over the bank holiday weekend at The Nest. The hut was exactly as described and included everything that we needed as well as being comfortable and cosy. Both pubs within the area were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely local walk along the old railway line. We had a delicious roast lunch at the Spyway Inn which is just a short 10 minute drive from the hut with a lovely pub garden overlooking the Dorset countryside. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed by our hosts. The hot tub was a particular highlight and the perfect way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!
