Willow Barn is in Troston a small village 6 miles from Bury St Edmunds. A luxury, detached, self-catered accommodation for 2 people, in a peaceful location with amazing countryside views. It sits opposite Willow House a Victorian house built in the late 19th century as a gamekeeper's cottage for the Troston Hall Estate. It is ideal for a romantic getaway, cycling/walking and for exploring everything Suffolk has to offer. The Bull Freehouse is a 10 min walk up the lane with great food & beer!

This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. The Hide is one of Suffolk's hidden gems. A clean, beautiful and relaxing space. We've created an open-plan cabin which is located on the edge of King's Forest with direct access to an abundance of nature, walks, cycle tracks and beautiful views. Relax and unwind on the raised deck of an evening as the sun sets over the forest in front of you, watching deer emerge from the forest and owls flying overhead. We are able to provide celebration packages upon request.

Situated in the quietest of settings, in the beautiful rural county of Suffolk, enjoying views of the peaceful countryside from its idyllic isolated setting. From this restful hideaway one can explore the many local footpaths and lanes on foot or visit nearby attractions by car or bicycle. This is a landscape of windmills, churches and nature reserves, with steam attractions, sports' venues and a wealth of local shops, pubs and eateries easily accessible.

The Old Stables

The Old Stables is a charming self contained annex to the front of our property with free parking on premises. Situated in a quiet location near The Grange Hotel and within approx half of a mile walking distance into Thurston Village. We live in the main house which is attached to the annex with our two quiet dogs. We are generally on hand to help with any questions or advise on the local area.
