Willkommen im „Gemütlichen Ferienhaus Danae“ – Ein traditionelles Steinhaus im Herzen des alten Dorfes von Malia Erleben Sie den Charme des alten Kreta im Haus Danae, einem liebevoll renovierten Steinhaus, das einst unseren Großeltern gehörte. Eingebettet im Herzen des traditionellen Dorfes von Malia verbindet dieses authentische kretische Haus Geschichte, Komfort und Charakter — ein echtes Refugium für alle, die mehr als nur eine Unterkunft suchen. Das Haus wurde vollständig aus lokalem Stein und Holz gebaut und hat seine ursprüngliche Seele bewahrt, während es gleichzeitig allen modernen Komfort bietet. Die dicken Steinmauern halten das Haus in den Sommermonaten angenehm kühl, während die warme Inneneinrichtung den zeitlosen Geist des kretischen Lebens widerspiegelt. Möbel, handgefertigte Details und natürliche Materialien schaffen eine einladende und gemütliche Atmosphäre, in der Sie sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlen. Das Haus verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, eines davon auf einer Holzgalerie über dem Wohnzimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein schön renoviertes Badezimmer sowie separate WCs für jedes Schlafzimmer. Außerdem gibt es einen privaten Balkon im ersten Stock, auf dem Sie Ihren Kaffee unter der Bougainvillea oder ein Glas kretischen Wein bei Sonnenuntergang genießen können, sowie einen Gemeinschaftshof mit unserem Gästehaus. Es befindet sich in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft im alten Dorf, nur wenige Schritte von traditionellen Tavernen, Bäckereien und kleinen Geschäften entfernt — alle voller authentischer kretischer Gastfreundschaft. Im Gegensatz zur modernen touristischen Seite bleibt diese Gegend ihren Wurzeln treu. Das Meer ist nur 15 Gehminuten entfernt und bietet die perfekte Kombination aus Authentizität und Entspannung am Wasser. Revamped Minimalist Stone Country House

Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. My guests can reach me at my mobile phone, text me or send a message directly to my inbox. Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, the home is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes is 20 minutes away from the center of Heraklion and beaches. I always recommend to my guests a car hire, so that they can enjoy their holidays by visiting plenty of places each day. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

The villa is located 80 meters from the sea, in the picturesque village of Sissi. With sea and mountain views, this luxury property is close to all local amenities. An ideal combination for the perfect summer holiday with family or friends. The spacious outdoor area offers a large sun terrace with sun beds and a 35 m² swimming pool. Our villa features a heated pool (Optional). In April, May and October, the heating is complimentary. Outside of these months, a small fee of €10 per day applies.
