Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. Ideal for writing and music, it has excellent acoustics. Essential facilities include portapotty, wash station, and fresh water. Dogs are welcome. Enjoy the secluded beauty of Birch Burn Retreat.

Our cottage is a relaxing oasis overlooking the beautiful Porter’s Lake. Located in Lawrencetown Nova Scotia, known for its quiet nature and beautiful ocean beaches, our cottage acts as a home away from home. Our beautiful cottage offers something for the whole family, whether it be fishing, boating or swimming, to hiking, biking and walking the Nova Scotia trails. Our two bedroom cottage contains all the furnishings and appointments, including TV, stove, refrigerator and laundry facilities.

Boathouse Forested Oceanside Retreat

Leave the world behind and ease into the pristine, 100-acre oceanside property and rest your bones in this private, off-grid Boathouse cabin. Sleep at the ocean’s edge; the view from the loft makes you feel like you are on a boat, without the motion. Enjoy our wood-fired Finnish sauna for a small additional fee. Kayaks/canoes/SUP available for rent. As a peaceful, meditative retreat, we generally refrain from alcohol. However, if it's important to you, we do allow small amounts of alcohol.
