High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

Come enjoy the Marshall House. This cozy bungalow offers a sun filled sitting room which makes for a perfect family gathering. Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!

The Farm House

Fall is here and the leaves are starting to change at the Farm! This barn has been converted to a delightful, cozy farm house where guest come not only for the stay but also for the experience! It’s been said “there’s a bit of magic in the air” as you meander the long wooded drive through our private 33 acres to the house where our horses greet you upon arrival! This is the perfect place to call your home away from home.

Waynesville is alive and well after the devastating floods that hit our area on September 27 last year. Our property survived with just a little damage to the grounds, and Main Street along with all of its shops, restaurants, bars, galleries, etc. are open and welcoming visitors as always. You will see debris on the curbs all around town but the cleanup is happening and things are looking better every day!
