The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

Wonderful cozy house in a nice peaceful and quiet neighborhood, conveniently located near major highways and easy commute to my company’s headquarters. My family had a nice time living in Lombard for the week.

Soft sand, still water, and no reason to rush. Grill outside, gather at the big family-style table, then sweat it all out in the sauna that feels like it was made to erase stress. The beds hit the sweet spot between firm and forgiving. Every corner of the place feels curated without being pretentious. Jewel is just up the road if you need supplies, but you’ll quickly forget the outside world exists. And Waylon? The kind of host you rarely get - quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and fully dialed in without hovering. This isn’t just a weekend rental - it’s the kind of place that makes you rethink how you spend your time off. You’ll leave better than you arrived.

The moment we stepped into the house it felt like a home. Very clean and cozy. We had a little trouble with the keypad but that was taken care of very quickly. Quick response from the host. Was able to get a hold of them when we had some questions. The kids loved the game room. Definitely would recommend and stay again if needed!!

Alex is a great host! Dog friendly places are hard to find and his place made my dog feel super comfortable. Love this place and definitely will be back.

This is a very beautiful house with TONS of space, big and perfect for my healing retreat, I hosted 9 ladies, the backyard is huge plus there was an outdoor event area. The place looked exactly like pictures, clean, host was responsive and polite. The house is very relaxing and peaceful. I would definitely recommend!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Jenny. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was man braucht. Man kommt bequem mit den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Innenstadt und zum Flughafen. In der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt und die Gegend ist schön und ruhig.

Jessica’s place was great and perfect jumping off point for my family attending my brother’s wedding and other festivities.

Craig was extremely nice and accommodating when it came to my birthday weekend. He responds quickly to all questions asked and makes sure we’re comfortable at all times. This home was clean, accurately described, and had the perfect “home feeling”. Overall, when visiting the area I will be booking here again !

We enjoyed our stay. John works hard to offer the best experience to his guests. The place was super clean and welcoming. Photos are matching. Close to everything with UBER. Some restaurants are located in the block. I recommend this appartement.

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

Convenient stay right outside of the heart of downtown Chicago! Easy to drive into town for the day. Very comfortable beds and very clean as well. Would recommend

This place was awesome. Felt very homie and comfortable. I love the decor and that there was a TV in each room. This place was beautiful and i wouldn’t mind staying again.

This was our favorite spot in Chicago thus far! The location was amazing, so close to everything! My 7 y/o is obsessed with the Sears Tower and was thrilled we could see it from our window! :) The place was clean and beds were super comfy. Would totally stay there again! Thank you, Michael!
