Great location, great amenities, and great communication, have stayed here before and will stay here again! The place is beautiful and has so many thoughtful and useful touches!

This spot is the definition of charming. Yes, as other reviews have mentioned, it is only accessible by stairs (and another set of even narrower stairs for an extra bedroom), but if you are able-bodied and willing, I can’t think of a homier spot. The owners are so friendly; the living areas are very cozy and cute, but still quite spacious!! The kitchen has every necessary appliance, dish and utensil (and even some snacks in the fridge!), and the bathrooms are extremely clean and large as well. The beds and couches are comfortable and the whole listing is within walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown Stratford (all the theaters included). I couldn’t imagine a better spot for a group trip and I certainly hope to be back!!

The location was within walking distance of all amenities and the apartment was absolutely prisitine and top notch. From the start, I was provided comprehensive and clear instructions on how to check in. Upon arrival, they provided a rundown of all the nearby conveniences and places to eat. Everything was well stocked and we were even provided with snacks and refreshments, truly above and beyond. I needed some help finding a place to board my dog and they were more than happy to help. Highly recommend staying here if you are travelling to Stratford!

I have visited Stratford many times but never had the chance to stay overnight—this was the perfect location for walkability, charm, and proximity to all the amenities you could want right at your doorstep. Brett was an exceptionally responsive and helpful host, making me feel at home immediately. Although I came as a solo visitor for just one night, I look forward to returning for a longer stay with my husband next time. Thank you for a lovely visit. Cheers!

The Lake Suite at the Henry House was charming, as well as cozy and relaxing. The decor is lovely and is exactly as shown online. Many restaurants, cafes, taverns, etc. are located in the downtown area which is within walking distance so it is not always necessary to have to rely on your vehicle. A theater is even right around the corner! The parking option onsite (if available) is a wonderful add-on. The host, Brett, is very responsive and it is evident that he wants all of his guests to have a very enjoyable visit. I have family in the Stratford area and love having my own cozy space when visiting them. Great stay while in town for skating provincials across the street. The home was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a thoughtful note and a restful sleep. Really appreciated the attention to detail. Sonia was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. Thank-you for the great stay!

Me and my fiancé stayed here and Paul was an excellent host. Super friendly and easy to talk to. His work on remodelling the old school building transformed it into a modern home filled with more amenities than I can mention here. Lots of complementary’s as well. Would definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area. Most memorable Airbnb experience thus far. Fantastic work Paul. Thanks for having us!

Its a very spacious building, big kitchen with all the necessary gadgets. The house is very sophisticated e.g. wireless switches, despite being located in a rural and secluded area. I was quite impressed by the sophistication and up to date appliances!

This Place is everything advertised and more. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen is gorgeous and stocked with eveything you need to make a wondeful meal. The bed is sooooo comfy. Communication is excellent and the welcome basket was a wonderful surprise. The patio is a nice outdoor space with beautiful lights at night. At night its nice to have a lighted pathway to your private entrance. Everything is prestine and it has that new smell. The location is surperb . Its is a 5 minute walk to grand bend beach , mini putt , shops and resturants. This location is also 8 minute drive to an old school drive in and 5 min drive to huron playhouse where you can see wonderful musical's and theatrical plays . I highly recomend this place if you want a home away from home .
