Great place to stay, handy location and all of the amenities we needed!

Barton Mills is a hidden gem, not just the meeting point of A11 and A14. Newmarket is a stone’s throw away. The National Horse Racing Museum is excellent. The race track itself easy to reach. Then there is the history of Breckland vs Fens. Great dog walking.

A lovely place to stay. Very cosy and deceptively spacious when you step through the front door. Not the most central location but an easy walk so don’t let that put you off. Very quiet and peaceful house with plenty of creature comforts.

Just what we needed for a 2 night stay visiting family. The house is very well equipped, clean, and just as described, minutes from the station. Close to tracks and footpaths for walks and 5 minutes from the shops. We had a lovely meal at The Red Lion on Saturday night - highly recommended. Thank you Krisztina.

Great weekend stay! The house is well equipped, very clean, quiet and just a 10-15 stroll to the centre of Saffron Walden Highly recommend!

We booked a two night stay at the Goose Barn to have a short break and to explore Cambridge (for the University). The barn was conveniently located, parking was easy and the barn was well presented and clean. It was peaceful and private which is what we were looking for. The breakfast goodies were a really lovely thought and the kitchen was well stocked and utensils were clean. The weather was against us and so we were unable to explore the local area as much as we had planned but there were maps etc if you wanted to. Communicating with Tessa was easy. Rooms were spacious and warm. Thank you Tessa.

We stayed overnight here before a Skydive the next morning so needed a place quiet and peaceful it was as expected in the photos . The house was warm & cosy very clean and inviting! My Daughter and I jumped 🤟🏼😝🪂

Caroline is a very friendly and responsive host. The property was exactly as described and the facilities were fab. It's noted that it's remote and it certainly is, about 1.5 miles into the nearest village (Little Downham) but it can be a bit noisy for the lighter sleepers as it's very close to an active railway and crossing. Alfie Acres is clean and well equipped and would highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at this barn, spent a night there for my friends hen do. Ema-Louise was really nice and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Ema-Louise even brought round one of her horses for a photo shoot with the bride-to-be who is obsessed with horses. The swimming pool is amazing, with plenty of sun loungers to use to relax around the pool. All-in-All, absolutely perfect place to stay and we will look to book again at some point.

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

Great place to celebrate the New Year with Family. The rustic property was very quirky which added to its charm. The well equipped kitchen was appreciated and utilised for our New Years Eve Dinner. A very accommodating host who was available to assist with any issues.

Lovely place to visit, easy to reach Cambridge, friendly hosts and great amenities

Staying here was brilliant, the hosts are very friendly. The room is modern, spotless and has a nice homey feel. The hot tub is top quality and the pool looks beautiful even though it was too cold for us to use. It’s a fairytale at a great price, the area is gorgeous and a 15 minute train ride away from Cambridge, overall great location!

Upon arrival Sally was there to greet us and give us a quick tour which was really helpful. The house itself is gorgeous - so spacious, perfect for a large group, and you want for nothing. The kitchen in particular is such an amazing socialising space - perfect for hosting! The Christmas decorations throughout were amazing and really made us feel at home and in the holiday spirit! All bedrooms were comfy, warm and spacious. We really enjoyed the pool table and darts. Everyone loved it! Location was so peaceful - countryside for miles but only a 10 min drive from Sandy station. Sally was super responsive throughout if we ever had any questions. And the cherry on top was the cuddliest cat Batman! We couldn’t have wished for a nicer place to spend Christmas with the family. Thank you Sally!

Really lovely time over Easter for three families with young children. Great place & lots to do in the area. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for a long weekend to attend a family event nearby. The house was perfect, it was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and we appreciated the free breakfast. The number of bathrooms/toilets was great for us as a family of 4 plus a grandparent. Location is great, 5 min walk to a massive Tesco, 2 playgrounds and lovely walks within 5 min walk as well. We walked to the River Mill for some drinks and an early meal and it was really nice. Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in and we would recommend. Thanks Elizabeth!

Fiona was extremely helpful when I checked in especially as I for some reason got a tad lost( I was the problem as it's easy to find) The property is an annex to a beautiful house in lovely grounds with a great field for the dog to have a run in. This is the cadilac of airbnb's, the annex has everything you could possibly need. it's immaculate, exactly as in the pictures, the bed is very comfortable and the shower room is excellent

The pavilion is a proper little gem. nice walks and the Danish camp had great food and entertainment, a short walk is the crown, super Sunday roasts. Emily and Mike were so helpful and lovely hosts. The pavilion was so cosy and spacious, had all the amenities you could possibly need. The bed was big and comfy, plenty of room to feel relaxed in the lounge/kitchen. On the whole a beautiful relaxed weekend. Thanks to excellent hosts. 5 stars. Will be returning.

What a lovely, welcoming, peaceful home. Helen and Dalbir were perfect hosts. Everything was spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen practical. The house is warm and peaceful. There’s a gorgeous nature reserve right on the doorstep and Hitchin an easy walk nearby. Local shops are great. And the hosts communicated regularly and clearly. They even found a little desk and chair for my daughter who had to study during our stay. We are looking forward to returning. A cosy little haven.

I’ve never been so sad to leave an Air BnB! Peaceful, quiet, heaven! Lovely enclosed garden/decking with patches of grass for the dogs, plenty of choice of outdoor furniture! Decking is a little worn and rotted in certain parts but otherwise it was a perfect little spot, we had perfect weather and spent most our time out there. 3 beautiful horses to watch graze from the garden with a cuppa, and a very cute donkey and Shetland behind the house to say hello to! It was honestly amazing - the perfect quiet retreat, the house is on the owners’ land but we were never disturbed but hosts were extremely responsive if we needed anything. Beautiful flowers and lovely fresh sourdough, chocolate and wine left for us which was such a lovely touch! Hosts were so welcoming and friendly, helped us with our bags which was very kind. Rooms were amazing with TVs, great wardrobe space, full working kitchen, stunning bathroom. We literally had everything we could possibly need, I would live there forever!

Just a couple of nights at Gina's place. we were unable to meet her, but Fran made us feel at home. Everything we needed for our stay and lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable, if not a little bouncy. Wonderful countryside and a friendly local pub.

The Writing Room was an excellent place for our long weekend get-away. We celebrated our anniversary and so the place had even been decorated with balloons and rose petals on the bed. Really nice touch, felt very personal and thoughtful! On top of that the room was super cosy, with quick and easy access to central Cambridge. Additionally there’s a pub and food shop nearby, which added to the ease, comfort and convenience of the stay. Heike and her Co-hosts provided great tips on where to go for food, scenery and experiences. All in all, we had an excellent stay!
