We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

The place is filled with love of Pirabakaran, we can feel the efforts on all the items and supplies he provides to make our living experience way much easier and nicer. The house and space are nice and comfortable, recommended for having a relaxing lakefront cottage/house getaway with the people you love. amenities are good: kayak, floating, fire pit, huge lakefront backyard, bbq grill, pool table, darts, big living and dining area

Absolutely stunning home on the water! Beautifully decorated and very well set up to host people. We had a wonderful time and the host was so quick to reply when we had any questions. We are looking forward to booking again in the future. The home is spotless. The beds are comfy, the hot tub was hot, the kitchen and appliances were unbelievably well thought out. The information given was so helpful in figuring out how to use everything. 10/10 experience and weekend. Thank you!!

The lakeside view was breathtaking, and we loved having access to kayaking—such a peaceful way to start the mornings. Little touches like the coffee and tea machine, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a baby gate for safety made our stay so convenient. The living area was cozy, and we enjoyed using the BBQ grill for some outdoor meals. Honestly, we couldn’t think of anything missing—it had everything we needed! We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The place was just as described – clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The place is exactly how it was advertised. Everything in the property was well thought of in terms of what people might need in their stay. Kitchen was well equipped that I was able to cook without issues. The host provided info about the location and places to see which is very thoughtful. Olga’s home was beyond my expectations! The place looks exactly like the pictures, everything is spotless and very clean! There is a great attention to detail to making the home feel cozy! Olga was also very helpful throughout the trip and very responsive. It’s located very close to the restaurants and the underground garage parking was great! Overall 5/5, would highly recommend to others and will be coming back in the summer!

Carol’s place was exactly as described—serene, simple, and beautifully designed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. The photos don’t do it justice! The space was clean, with fresh linens and thoughtful touches throughout. It was easy to find, tucked in a quiet spot close to walking trails and a short drive to Midland. My boyfriend and I loved taking an evening stroll and catching a stunning sunset by the water. Carol was great with communication—very responsive before check-in and after we left. We didn’t need to reach out during our stay since everything ran smoothly. The Wi-Fi worked great, we enjoyed Netflix, played games, and really settled in. The couch and bed were comfy, though we spent most of our time outside! We especially loved the bird-watching window, the backyard firepit, and the cozy, peaceful feel of the whole place. If you’re looking for a quiet escape from the city, Carol’s place is totally worth it! We hope to stay here again!

Tatiana and Tymur were wondering hosts. They really care for their guests and for their beautiful cottage. The large windows in the cottage really showcased the beauty of the outdoor space. There are many rooms with comfortable beds and three washrooms - all well equipped- which was great as we were traveling in a larger group. The kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the large family living room, they even had extra games for us to play. Everything was kept tidy and clean. We all felt comfortable and at home. The family was already asking to come back in the summer! Thank you again ☺️

The place was absolutely beautiful. Michelle gave very detailed instructions which helped. The hot tub and sauna was a bonus. Michelle responded to any questions very quickly and was very friendly. Gravenhurst is a cute little town, it has everything you need. I would love to stay again!

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

We enjoyed our stay. More beautiful than the pictures. Caroline was very responsive. She offered us early check-in and accepted to check out at 11am instead of 10am. can't wait to go back in summer.
